1-6th Snowspeeder project

They dont seem to have skids, we think they hover like landspeeders. So it will eventually just have a stand. What I would like to is have it on a swivel like the speederbikes, so it could be put at an angle.

Did you make speeders too?

The landspeeder was the first project I did and it is on my list to remake. I want to do one with an open engine pod more like Lukes.

Well I removed the front and rear bulkheads they came off easy with the aid of a very heavy large hammer an a few cuss words (no one was around)
Now there is enough leg room for a Wookie!! But not the headroom.

Snowspeeder pilots take yoga in order to fit in their seats. You need to be more zen about this.

Can you lower the floor for the pilots? Will that kill the shape of the speeder's underbelly? Better than ruining the cockpit canopy?

As for the cockpit I think I will be ok, I will have the seats sloping back to reduce the height of the spine.

Tomorrow is a very exciting day indeed. With the cash I raised from selling a few bits I have bitten the bullet and got some stuff laser cut! Very excited!!!!

well today I am as pig it sh a happy in as (re arrange for a well known saying down in the country)

laser cut stuff arrived... only one mistake which I am gutted about but it will not happen again... just gotta fill all the joints, sand it and ta da!!
