Mark
I came across these in my file of cool stuff. No idea who to credit for them, I just thought they were neat at the time. I'm not sure how accurate they are either, but maybe they'll help you out. To be honest, I don't even remember if they are in this thread already or not:duh

But Liam is doing his homework, Debs is doing her school work and I am supplying vast amounts of tea and just enough time to draw up the left side of the speeder.

final front panels are on, filled, sanded and sprayed. I keep slowing down to avoid the canons!! no idea why as I have got to do them!!!

Well I have been trying to find as many different tubes as possible but I am a bit fussy. Although folks know I am not a big fan of 100% screen accurate as there are often so many variations in the films its insane, but I want to get it close to the pics that I am going from.

I really like the plate on the canopy and the grill at the front, as Cbob says it gives it a little more depth.

Lookin' good Mark (the SPEEDER, not you).

I agree about sticking to the ref pics. Screen accuracy can be brutal with all the variations. And CBob is right. All the doodad's and panels add texture that really makes it pop.

Keep it up mate!

Cheers guys, as soon as I can I want to get some more bits cut for the other speeders. Not that I am avoiding the cannons of-course!!

Those cannons are cake compared to everything else you've done. That canopy lid really cleaned up beautifully.

The future brings kit-bashing... putty and sanding... much dust I see....

well I have no idea why I can not get my head round them. :huh

Perhaps drilling a hole though each of the pieces that go on the side. Then you could slide all of the parts onto the (wooden dowel, plastic rod?). This would keep them all perfectly aligned and act as a spacer for the rod extending forward.
