I just sprayed the STAP then put it together then added detail... but I did not spray them black first... I just did thin black washes or brown washes.. are you ding it red or cream... I love both.

the droid will be beige, the stap a bit red. like the beginning of Ep1.

Those repaints are brilliant. I can't imagine ever coming close to that quality!

Prog dont talk pants you can do it! and I with help out in any way I can. I have seen some stunning repaints of battle droids when I was doing my research. I think the beige ones show off weathering better.


Kamandi, sideshow are a bit slack they can not keep up with the custom guys on the forum although they do try hard, some of the sculptors on here like Enuad, Jessica and Bantha are equally as good as sideshow I think. And folks like Vivisect make dollie clothes of such high standard its mind blowing!!

The pilot is a TT long haired chap, minus his hair to get the stunning Tomy helmet on. The uniform is Hasbro (I love Hasbro) as is the chest box. The vest is from somewhere I forget!! the gloves are casts I think.

OK...so I checked this thread yesterday evening and I was like...cool good stuff going on...and today after a hard day of work I checked again and I was like WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.....
That lit up cockpit is the shizzle Dorgs...that X-wing is just amazing....everything is so well thought out and you sure work fast...or do you have a few clones that go to work when you go to bed.....


BTW...imagine that X-Wing fly over....I would crap myself....

You can never have too many lights and panel details.

My wife would kill me, but this is really starting to look like it would be fun to build. I have the same hasbro R2, and the pilot bits wouldn't be too hard to tracks down...

No, I'd better finish my Iron Man helmet first.

DOOOO it or maybe a tie fighter. I was gasin to Chakaman about that but I think it would be so hard as I can not find any ref pics.

And hell yeah I have been chasing the cat with my DL-44 got it for £10 baaarrgin.. just needs painting up

The surface area of a TIE's wings would be almost as large as your Xwing with foils.
