the next genetic camo vers look cool, old samurai type dude and young guy with dif face compared to Kotko(kotko ships next month). but they will use same base body.
the kuguto is 100% new sculpted by takeya not part of the TOA Nihei line. they also have a mech line in the works thats 100% new sculpted non-humanoid robots. so long story short i think if its under the banner of TOA aka the Nihei line good chance this synth base body will be used. the snake eyes story is mashed with the TOA story line hence the use of the synth body again.

depends on the camera, the pale blue can look like Green as in the preorder photos. they are somewhere brown/green/blue. difference is the one you showwed has matte finishing while the Synthetic has Porcelain finish on the white areas.

do you guys think these are still flippable in 2nd hand market? surely lots of folks got more than 3 and it will flock ebay when it's out, i'm just wondering whether we should all get 3 instead of 2.

Everything popular and hard to find is flippable, but hopefully the days of these selling for $600+ are over. The supply of synthetic humans in the world just increased massively (I hope), so demand would have to explode to keep eBay prices at their current level.

Apparently there was some kind of mark on the back of the figure's neck that distinguished between the first and second runs, so perhaps there will also be a different mark for this release. If so, there will still be a market for the original two runs, at least among the very few collectors committed to having everything in the line.

They'll drop in price, but I doubt it'll be because of the hands--I have yet to meet someone who is both inclined to pay a super-premium for the original run of something AND cares about anything as practical as extra features in the new version. That is, anybody willing to drop $600 on the original simply because it's the original probably won't care that the new version comes with another accessory.

If I had any more cash for toys, I would have gone for three, but two was all the budget allowed.

I believe this is the first time they've run into issues on this scale. There was a shipping mishap with the anti-CaRBs a while ago but they cleared that up. My payment went through fine but it seems like payment issues have hit a significant number of people.

I got 3 too. My thinking is, I will display two and keep one in box. I see the price dropping as there is more units on the market, but it will still sell for 150 to 200 in the future since its is not widely available after the order date.
