1080p vs 1080i/720p ?

I had a 42" plasma 1080i and upgraded to a 46" LCD with 1080p and it was a huge difference. You need to pay attention to more than the i vs p though. Refresh rate is big as well contrast ratio (15K :1 is really good).

You will notice a difference between the two especially if you have an HDMI running from your PS3.

Yeah, if you do own a PS3 and have the HD TV, etc. etc., but don't have the HDMI cord you wont notice much a difference at all. The HDMI is a must.

mine does. A LOT. it heats up the whole room.

Hell yeah they give off heat! Just like Occ said, mine heats up the WHOLE room, and its big room. but I love it

You could charge for the people that could watch it on your lawn.
