12" ANH Leia

This Leia has been the biggest roller coaster ride for me. I canceled and when I saw the first pics i was glad I canceled.. Then better pics came out and re ordered her and now I can't wait for her to get here.

Lord, SW is making me go bi-polar.

Yeah I'm getting that way too. I hate being wishywashy.

I like that pic too WG, but I'm still meh on the fig. Seems like the likeness is there for a few angles but there is something proportionately wrong with that sculpt; hair, forehead, nose. etc. It's a GOOD Figure IMO.

Well worth $35-40, but not retail.

Looking good... Luckily Sideshows return policy can make it a non-issue if you don't like the figure. I did get a bit worried from some of the earliest shots, but I plan on seeing the figures I order through to the end. And on this one it looks like that was the right decision.

I still have to wait until the 3rd, but I'm very excited to see her in person.

Its really growing on me. I've got a feeling this figure is gonna be quite nice in person. Could end up being a strong 8 figure.

It's definitely hard to swallow at $60 plus... but at $35 down the line, jump. It's likely there won't be another Princess version coming in the foreseeable future.

That was my plan too....I almost cancelled but got the precharge so I held out. I like her fine, for what she is.

I'm gonna keep her, so that says it all.

Not having it in hand I don't see why this would be a hard figure to take @ $60 unless its just because of the dress?

It's definitely hard to swallow at $60 plus... but at $35 down the line, jump. It's likely there won't be another Princess version coming in the foreseeable future.

Well, it's just the lack of accessories, like extra hands... and that dress. I've tried the water treatment with a spray bottle and it's really not taking. I don't mind putting a lot of work into a figure... but this material doesn't allow for much 'futzing'. So, after so many 'busy' figures with really great material for their outfits, this one seems a little light at $60... that's what I mean.

Because some of us DO like the figure? The more I see of it the more I'd say she is about an 8 too. Really nice, but not fantastic.

Cause its my opinion and will be my review. Don't like it review the figure yourself.

If I were reviewing this I would give it a 6 or a 7 I think.

It could still end up there for me. I gotta be able to look it over.

The sculpt and paint really are better than that score, but the dress isn't... so that's probably pretty accurate as a gut reaction relative to the line.

I could definitely see the price not being reflective in the simplicity of the figure... the only thing I'm actually bothered by so far are the hands looking much more pink than the rest of the figure. That doesn't seem right to me. But it could be more of a lighting issue than something in hand?

I read the posts here a lot, but I rarely take the opinions. I always check the figure out for myself. The only gripes I have about the figure are sturdiness issues. I am very satisfied with the likeness and accessories. It is true that this is much less figure for the price than most of the others. But I am giving Sideshow the BOD thatb they are using the surplus to pay for R & D on the armored and complex figures like General Grievous. But Leia is nowhere near a disappointment to me. I will be working to pose her just right, but it will happen and the figure will certainly enhance the collection.
