Damn I really wanted this. Sucks ... I can't get the dewback at that price. I was thinking $300 special price when purchased together maybe $350 if not and purchased seperately.;

I will pass on Dewey for sure at this time and hope for a deal.

But I am not sure I can pass on the Sandie.

Those additions would swing me to the purchase side!

In this economy I can't see spending that much for a figure. Now...the Stormtrooper PF is another story.

I think that $299.99 price is just little steep for only the Dewback when compared to the Hot Toys Tron Legacy Sam Flynn with Light Cycle for the exact same price, which I have on pre-order for a lower price.

Regardless, I'm still buying both the Sandtrooper and Dewback. Now I just need to decide if I'm going to use my SSC reward points or get it elsewhere.

I don't see mention of an Exclusive version.

I'm surprised that anyone thought the price would be comparable to Jabba.

Jabba was $120 at a time when Bib Fortuna was $55. Now the average figure price is $99. That's an 80% increase. If Jabba came out now he'd be $220. Considering the Dewback looks to be more than a chunk of rotocast plastic, $300 seems in line with current pricing. Complaining about the price won't get you anywhere, this is how much it costs to make things nowadays.

1/6 scale is getting more and more popular, the Chinese are demanding more and more money, and this is the result. Deal with it.

I'm pretty much in the exact same boat at this point. I was VERY intrigued and excited about this prospect....talk about taking air out of the balloon. Just not sure I can justify the cost pushing $500 when all is said and done.

Perhaps the Dewback can be had down the road for a discounted price so maybe I'll have to watch for that. But I'm a little bummed today, I have to be honest.

One, I really don't care about this one having a base (although it would be GREAT if regular figures came with a base instead of the generic stands).
