I got rid of all my big prop replica Star Wars stuff and never got into collecting the 12" figures, just the Hasbro small three inch figures and vehicles but I've got to say that this beast will be mine. I got rid of the Hasbro 12" Dewback years ago. Just did not have the space. But I will make space for this.

i always thought the 12" hasbro dewback was cool........even if it wasnt screen accurate but the ssc dewback looks to blow that one out of the wat......um ....sand......

and even if it doesnt come with fur it isnt like it would be all that hard to add a smidge here and there. ..........dammit man..........cannot wait for the full reveal..............

Holy crap! How did you possibly guess that correctly? Yep, as part of the Sideshow agreement with Lucasfilm & Hasbro, all Star Wars figures from now on have to double as Trans Formers. Wait til you see the Darth Maul that transforms into Grievous.

Very cool! I missed out on the Hasbro 12" Dewback when it first came out and have two of the Kenner Dewbacks that came out in 1997.

I know it's going to be pricey, but one way or another I'll be adding this bad guy to go alongside the four SSC Sandtroopers (two orange, one white and one black paldron) I already have. Can't wait to see the full reveal.

That IKEA coffee table mod seems like it could be a good fit for this. Throw in some sand for good measure.

I wouldn't mine making a dio for it, but lack of space for a dio display could be an issue for me. If I do make a dio, I'll have to design it to fit in my custom built-in wall shelves.

I will probably build a display base, with sand and such and then fabricate an acrylic cube to keep the dust out. I'm doing something similar for the Yoda hut, except I'm going to use a coffee table.

Someone said $150.... and all I could think of was Figrin D'an for $100.

I would hope this monster is priced at around $249.99... but given prices today and th sheer size I would agree this will be over $300 at SS. In fact, I'll guess now that it's gonna be priced at $324.99. That way retailers can offer it for $299.99.

He will be just like Jabba as far as how he is made (hollow plastic) so I am guessing he'll come in around $275. If he comes with a Sandtrooper it will be $350.
