12" Indy In Adventure Gear: Raiders Version Discussion Thread

So 12-14 days out we should be seeing some production shots soon right? I'd like time to cancel if I don't like the way it turns out.

I wanted to make an Indy in German soldier disguise, but can't find anything like the movie.

I have one all ready to go and just waiting on one of the extra heads. I'll post some pics and a "recipe" soon.

I ordered mine from Corner Store Comics..so...I have no idea when its coming.

Cornersore usually gets theirs right away. I got my Obi-Wan clone armor while many were still waiting to get theirs from SSC. So I wouldn't worry about waiting. They already have Gandalf listed as in stock.

I'm going with the professor look for my second HS... I mean, face it-- he is a teacher... part-time.

Here ya go, see why I don't understand why it doesn't fit? Josh, there's no need to modify a buck, the TrueType works perfectly and will be more in scale with the Prometheus. MaulFan, I'd doublecheck to make sure it's a TrueType Caucasian relaunch. This is the body I used: (HotToys Caucasian TrueType)

Excuse the socks. I had to leave him with some dignity. ​

Not sure what the relaunch is, my TT is the caucasian that comes with the Prison Break guy's head in it, maybe there's a difference, I just know the Giles costume from my Giles didn't fit that well on my TT body, yours looks just fine though as you said. Sucks though because if there's a chance of the costume being smaller or a variation in the bodies, it's a roll of the dice.

I didn't get my notice...yet. I pre-ordered the exclusive version as soon as Sideshow put it up for the Priority Pre-Order. Hopefully I'll get my notice today since some of you guys starting getting them a few days ago. I've got the money set aside to buy it right now.

I will have to make sure I grab two of those honestly if it comes out like that. I am going to make a Professor Jones and a Tony Stark figure.

Sideshow's Indy comes with 2 heads. One with fedora, one without. We're talking about picking up an extra body for the non-fedora'd Indy head that comes as an accessory to make a professor Henry Jones.

Exactly! I don't hate the buck but I just want to make a Professor Indy figure.

Difference is (pretty sure) the shoulders are broader on the new TT. That causes some difficulty especially with suits.
