SS sculpt is good but customs from octopus is better

Bespin Luke sculpts.

I love Andy's work, and his Bespin Luke face was fantastic, but the hair style he went with was too scene specific and I'm sure was the main reason it was rejected vs. the one we got which had more an overall ESB style hair, not sure why they wouldn't just have Andy redo the hair possbily, but who knows, maybe someone didn't like the face either in the approvals.

I still, as ever, maintain that the sculpt is not the problem. The paint app is.

It's a combination. Andy's unaltered head looked really nice and the changes hurt it, but yeah, the paint apps don't do it any favors. Sam's got strong contrast of the whites of his eyes and the iris is almost black looking all the time. The figure eyes are a creamy color, not ivory enough, and the iris is clearly brown and not dark enough. Sam has intense eyes when making a face like the figure, the paint doesn't convey that.
