yup..totally agree!!was lucky enough to have gotten him off an online auction for 49 USD roughly..great figure!!love the over sized cloak!!

CRAW, will get a pic of the back tonight...basicallt the tip of the hood is still there..just not that visible from the front after some futzing..

thanks but i was futzing with my new anakin apprentice figure for a couple hours today and i got him looking pretty good. just took a while. no pics though sorry.

The proper way to word that would be, "Wow, when compared to the HotToys sculpt, the one LFL made Sideshow change theirs to is way off, not even close to Samuel Jackson!" It's been said many times, the original headsculpt Sideshow produced for Mace was 100x better than the final one.

Andy Bergholtz got screwed twice (not to mention us collectors) by LFL when they rejected his original Mace Windu and Bespin Luke sculpts. I'm still pissed about that Luke when I imagine what we could've had compared to the mess of a sculpt that we actually ended up with on that one.

I think the SS one is fine. Resembles Jackson and is all Mace IMHO.

i never had a problem with the sideshow mace. i like him as is. i've seen several custom versions and they look worse IMO. as for luke, well i don't think anybody has gotten close on that sculpt. the jedi version is the only version i'll own.
