So can any of our HK brethren post pics of Maul with Luke to settle the monkey arm debate once and for all?

Yes please a comparison picture would be great, also one shot of Maul with Qui-Gon standing back to back please.

Great pics guys!!! It certainly looks like we will have absolutely NO head repaints!! Thank GOD! He looks fantastic!! :lol

I will have to redo the eyes though, I just want him looking up through the top of his eyes and not straight ahead. Also will touch up the area around the lips, just because I'm picky like that.

hehe, that's exactly what I was thinking. It looks fabulous, but I might change the direction his eyes look in, plus the area above his lips could use just a touch of fixing. But I'm being really picky

can't wait to get this (as long as it gets here when I have some money) :lol

First I got an email saying Maul will be here in 9 to 11 days
and then I got an email saying my credit card is about to expire but it doesnt expire until May 2007. I have sent them an email about this and hopefully this wont cause a delay in Maul.

I might have to take a personal day when Maul is due to arrive. Let the sub deal with all this. :lol

What because the week or twp you have off during the holidays isn't enough?:lol

Holidays are not enough. Once the collector recieves a figure most wanted, they must spend at least one week to one month in awe of it's greatness. This includes (but not limited to) hours of staring, Picture time, Bringing the figure with you to look at on the counter while you eat, sitting on the couch holding the figure admiring it and other such 'collector' behavior.

If memory serves me correctly, the boots Darth Maul uses are from an Italian designer. I'm pretty sure one can actually buy boots similar to Maul's.
they are Frank Thomas motorcycle boots,They are the Titan Touring boots Gore 101 and were produced in Italy until 1997. ...heres the ones i scratch made, some dragon german soldier boots ,shortened with leatherette piecs overlayed and thin electrical wire as the piping, fuse wire for the buckly bits

I got that message about my credit card too and mine's good until 2008 - maybe it's a glitch in the system?

Apparently it is a glitch. Pixletwin posted this in the other thread:

This was on my order page at SSC.com

Did you recieve an email about your Credit Card Expiring?
12/5/06 9am PT - Due to a small email glitch this morning, many customers were sent an email informing them that their credit card number on file was about to expire. In most cases, this email was mistakenly sent to you. However, due to recent items shipping shortly, we do suggest you check your credit card information in your user account. [Manage Credit Card]

I got the same email dispite updating it last week. Went to my account through the usual Sideshow link and updated it anyway (which nothing changed). Didn't use the link the the email because I thought it was odd and possibly a scam. Glad it wasn't.

Strangely enough, I wasn't paying attention to this thread, but now that I've found it, two words: monkey arms!
Actually, make it two more: clunky boots!

Other than that (which somehow doesn't surprise me) the figure looks amazing.
