Just watched a news report in the UK, this sick piece of scummy bastardness is playing the 'borderline schizophrenia/underlying mental illness', because he failed his exam, then went and bought the assault rifle, him not 'coping' with failure is an excuse.

I failed my Maths GCSE and only got a D, which meant I only had 9 B grades but not maths, so i then proceeded to ensure that I could purchase a weapon and go murder 12 people and injur 71.

I then failed my Psychology A level. So what I did right, was buy a gun and kill all my fellow students.

Seriously, you dont get a ____ing illness because you fail an exam, you get depression and then the desire to go back and do it again better, or do something your good at or have skill in. You dont suddenly have an 'underlying mental illness', you have a sick ____ing mind.

Its like me turning round and saying that I failed my driving test im now dyslexic because I cant read road signs or something. Its utterly stupid, and im willing to bet he gets away with the mental illness crap.

its actually not. There have been numerous studies about people snapping after putting too much pressure on themselves to be academically perfect. Look at suicide rates of students at schools like MIT compared to other schools. It is not that hard to believe that someone that flunked out of a high level graduate program went nuts right after.
