I snagged one of his Choppers. That is a great AVP Pred to have in my opinion. And a loose one shouldnt hurt the wallet toooo bad. I have 4 and only assembled one.

I'm hooked since I rewatched both Predator flicks, and enjoyed them even more with a return viewing. But I'm not going to spend $300 or more on some of these figures to put them together. I can see the Predator 2 next to my Cleaner Predator, but if they make a Predator from the first film, I guess my money is as sure as spent, I might have to get 2, with a Hot Toys Dutch if the ever do one.

And I'm still looking to buy any if the price is right, they can be loose but assembled or not if they are complete.

I've got a fever... and the only cure... is more Predator!

my 1st pred was the p2 elder... and there hasn't been any other preds i've wanted until the p2 lost one.
but, that's mostly due to the novelty of the figure actually getting made. it was on screen for like 2 seconds. but, it was the coolest scene in the whole movie. so, i gotta have it.
i'd kinda like to get the battle damaged p2, but it's not worth what it's going for to me.
the elder was $170 and i can't see paying more than that for a damn toy that's just gonna sit on a shelf.
as for the avp figures; i hated the movie and it's a crime to spend $300+ on that garbage. not to mention the crappy face sculpts and those stupid bendy dreads.

except for the lousy sculpting, stupid gimmicky dreads and absolutely hilarious prices, they're not so bad.
if i could go to walmart and get them out of a clearance bin for like $30 i'd probably get some.

Ok, so not to beat around the bush... AVP:R... sucked huge moose testicles. What a waste of celluoid. I mean BATMANEAD END (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hjp0I_okX0w) was more entertaining and better shot. And that's a shame since it seems like the Cinematographer of TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE (Original & REMAKE) was the DP.

Maybe it was me, but I couldn't see anything. And how about that RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD ending. I dunno, I was hoping for something else I guess.

I'm not really a huge Alien(s) fan, love the PREDATOR, but I think this film fell way short of being good. MY DVD copy came with a Digital Download, not gonna even bother, it's going right back to Amoeba Records with the 1st AVP. Just venting, I know some may disagree, but this is how I felt.

that's what you get for expecting a sequel to a crappy movie to be less crappy.
lesson learned.

personally, it reminded me more of the games than anything. but that doesn't make it watchable. the games work for a good reason.
awkwardly forcing 2 franchises together will never stop being a terrible idea.

I dunno, I was hoping for something else I guess.

I think we were all hoping for something better than a movie where the creature scenes were so dark they might as well have left the lens cover on, and filled with cliche characters that the most forgiving filmgoer couldn't manage to give a hoot about.

Still, we got some decent designs. Wolf is a great looking Pred, and the Predalien is interesting imho.

As others have said, anyone that saw the first one wasn't expecting a classic. If only they'd had the sense to just adapt the first AVP comic...*sigh*
