Some questions about printing phase:
1. Will this come as a collection of solid and clear printed parts - ie so for example the upper chest will be one opaque piece and the clear belly another - or is it all going to be printed clear in larger components (ie entire torso + head all one piece) and you paint the portions that aren't see-through.
Head and neck will be printed clear, as will torso/chest. The non-clear parts can then be painted
2. Will the clear belly area be hollow to allow for some people to install the "robot guts" that are visible inside or will it be a solid clear piece with no cavity inside? If it's going to be hollow, will the wall thickness be pretty thin - ie 2mm or so, or thicker, like say 6mm?
Yes- it will be a hollow cavity to allow guts to be built/not provided.
3. Is it possible to print the legs "hollow" with a narrow cavity running in the center (maybe 4mm diameter) to allow wiring for anyone who wants to put an LED in the stomach area, or is that going to be too difficult to add?
I will try to print with cavity
4. Do the shoulders spin at all, and is it possible to split print the clear neck area in two pieces - ie. a very basic spin joint at the neck ring - so people can either glue it fixed or drill a pin in to enable a head turn, or is that too complex to add?
