I wonder why they did not show 'the subject' with the rest of the exclusives that were pictured. Maybe he'll be the only exclusive to be picked up at the con (no orders)?

I was hoping SS would do something special with a exclusive, for the SDCC attendees.

Now I think in regards to LotR I'd be shocked if we diddnt get something. I'd eve be willing to say we WILL get something. No I don't know that for sure.

And they don't have con-only exclusives... SSC is actually a nice company and realizes not everyone can make it to SDCC.

Yeah, probably the babysitter in a Red skirt this time or something equally lame... But I could be wrong.

If it's another color change I will breathe a sigh of relief and not order.

Yeah, that was the case but it does say 12" Variant in that slot.

They aren't jaw dropping as some of sideshows past exclusives have been.

I'd say they are far from crappy. Aayla was a shocker, the IM MARK 02 was a given....and I have a feeling there is more....maybe not orderable before Con because of the variance from something that will be offered at Con but I have a feeling PO days for Con revealed stuff will garner heavy exclusivities as well.

I admit though, with Gandalf the Grey on the way now we SERIOUSLY need Saruman the White to complement him. Can you imagine the wizard duel in 1:6 format? AMAZING! And then we need to get right back to work finishing the Fellowship. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli hunting the band of Uruks in 1:6 scale? AMAZING! The four hobbits racing to get to Bree in 1:6 scale? AMAZING!

The entire Fellowship of the Ring journeying across Middle Earth and through Moria in 1:6 scale?

I WILL BE ASTONISHED AND OVERJOYED BEYOND ALL RECKONING! THAT DAY WILL COME!!!

Something for Captain Faramir, i know your Hero-centric, but something i think you should consider. It's allways darkest before the dawn. Simularly, A truely great hero is even greater when he triumphs over a truely malevalent evil.
Without a badguy to trump, Our hero's would likely never become hero's, instead going on to have more "normal" professions, and who would have bought a Figure of Stider: Certified Public Accountant?

I actually like this year's exclusives because of the fact that they aren't "jaw droppers."


Making an exclusive a "must have" is torture to collectors who can't go to the Con. These exclusives are perfect cause they're cool but they just aren't items that you "must get."



Did that make any sense at all?
