2008 Comic Con Exclusives

No.

Mainly because you don't have to go to the Con to feel tortured. You can sit at home and sweat on the servers breaking down, or your computer crashing at an inopportune moment.

Thankfully we both don't have to go through that this year. Only because our jaws didn't drop. Not that they aren't jaw droppers in their own right.

I don't know why people are still complaining about the torture of getting these exclusives. Sideshow is not Gentle Giant (or "Hostel Midget" ). Their exclusives are quite easy for Non-Attendees to get in comparison. Mark my words... I WILL NEVER GET A GENTLE GIANT SDCC EXCLUSIVE... NO MATTER HOW COOL!!! :maul

In fact, wasn't there an Express Update from Sideshow recently offering the Holo Sideous in mecho-doohickie chair? And the Yavin Luke was on second chance for so long I was able to get one for my son for free using my Sideshow Gift Card.

Speaking of torture... I wonder how much more body-to-body can the SDCC get before I get squeezed out the door.

I have a feeling that will happen again this year. I was browsing Statue Forum and by the responses, they too aren't very thrilled with the Exclusives this year either. many people are passing on them. Better chop down the ES on those exclusives this year SS. Else people will be grabbing FREE giftcards and possibly end up getting these items for free later on.

I have a real Hard *n for the new 12 inch Iron Man. It will be my first 12 inch figure, from what I see Hot Toys makes pretty bad ass figures.
