2008 Comic Con Exclusives

Oh man a re-release of X-Men dio #1. That's going to make alot of people mad, alot of people happy, and me broke since I will have to go back and get #2 and #3 as well.

I can see the X-Men vs. Sentinel Dio guess, either that or a Kaminoan 1:1 Bust....just because it doesn't look big immediately doesn't mean they didn't shrink it down to F with us. As for the figure to the right I can see a Map Room Indy but I can also see an Anakin AOTC figure....should be interesting to see what hints we get....doesn't help that human nature will take a close guess and visualize it so I'm sure by the end of the day they'll be other "sure things".

Its not the Xmen Sentinel. If you look closely there is no way you can reconcile the Sentinel silhouettes with the preview.

Its not the Xmen Sentinel. If you look closely there is no way you can reconcile the Sentinel silhouettes with the preview.

If you were looking at it from the side so that cyclops and colossus were lined up together . . . it sure does look like the sentinel head from the side . . .

You never know though . . .

The Luke PF and Lawgiver statue as exclusives at SDCC garnered a lot of complaints because of the size. That's why they offered to ship the last PF exclusive they did. So I don't see a repaint of the X-Men dio being one of the exclusives, although it would certainly help them sell the #2 and #3 Vs. that are sitting around (if they are sitting around).

Just looking at the cut of the robe, it has me thinking "Jedi", the more I see it. Plus the line implies a lightsaber.

I highly doubt they'll repaint Dio #1, but to be contradictive. SS would make alot of money off it. So it is possible.

But I don't think they would sell it as a SDCC exclusive, maybe pre-order perhaps?

Yeah. I am firmly in the Obi-Wan camp on this one. It makes too much sense. (although I really would have preferred MRI).

If it is AOTC OB1 I won't get it. I'll keep the armored version of him as my representation of that era. Man, two SDCC in a row with ex I don't want.

I carried both of those around all day and by the time I got to the car my hands were almost bleeding. The following year, I got a hotel room, but of course there were no more king sized exclusives.

If they have moved away from large exclusives, then Sentinel #1 repaint seems unlikely. And as a previous owner of the original, I just don't see a perfect match in that silhouette--unless Colossus got sick and lost half his body weight.

Sheesh, if it's AOTC Obi-Wan, we'll almost have as many Obi-Wans as we do Lukes.

He seems too important to be an exclusive though.
