Everyone seems focused on the quality of the figure and it's relationship to the price, forgetting entirely that it also has to do with the quantity produced. More produced, lower costs. The real trick, and the one that plagues every company is how do you manage to up the quantity produced and STILL keep the quality. Because HT's run sizes are increasing, you're seeing prices drop as they should. The big question is going to be - will the quality still be there? We'll see, and I certainly hope so. If they can pull that off, they can tackle larger licenses and do some amazing figures.
You have an excellent point there. Also sometimes the only way to be
sure is to see the actual pics rather than going off the proto because they
may not be as good as the production figs, Sideshow collectors would know
this better than some.
