thats 3 more combined, or hottoys could do all of them, id buy em
theres also the two avp type preds from avpr, i know their almost the same as the ancients BUT they could do them with all the new goodies, ie rubber wireless dreds, mandibles, id be fine with that too, good excuse to update them, there is still things to be done, its not just gunna disipate

I guess with the Lost Pred, Hot Toys expects us to buy multiple Predator2s and Losts so we can build the rest of the crew ourselves.

With the aliens, there's still the Giger alien, RE alien, Newborn, Queen, and AVP Queen.
In addition, they can decide to revisit and improve upon their older figures (hopefully the aliens one) like they did with their supermans, batmans and even Predators (Scar Ex and P2-BD).

What I'm trying to say is, if there is money to be made.....someone will assume the role to make that money.

Nah, I think they'll go back and redesign some of the Preds from AVP. I know that'll piss some of the collectors off but I'm pretty certain there's a market there, and they know it. To be quite honest they don't look as good as the newer ones, either, and I bet they see room for improvement.

Same with the Aliens, especially given how fragile they can be. Lots of room for improvement there. Marines, maybe not. Seems less likely, but I bet we see a really nice Bishop, eventually...

I hear you abake, but as we've had Machiko perhaps we'll get some more EU figures, I'd certainly go for Broken Tusk.
And if there's enough demand, and people keep up the pressure (I mean, look at the POTA line) then I'm sure ways will be found to give us more 'Predator' goodness. I'd love a 2 in 1 Peter Hall tribute figure, wouldn't a lot of us?

Yes,and I d love a Stan Winston figure even more.Id put him in a buddy-style pose surrounded by the Predators,T-800 and Iron Man.

I would love for hot toys to produce figures off of the alien and predator comic books. i'd love to see a flying queen alien, that would probably be the coolest thing ever lol

Not gonna happen. As far as aliens and monsters go, I think Hollywood is out of ideas.



What we need is for Fox to take a look and see how well merchandise is selling, and put a little faith into a GOOD director, and have a fantastic story again. Sorry, but I'm a ^^^^ing die hard Predator fan, and I'm not ready to give up on it, in fact, I doubt I ever will.

For what it's worth, I know that Alot of people are not big on Reserection, But Hot toys did accuire the liscense, SO I'll say it's a safe bet that we will see the Aliens from that film get a release as well....

And hopefully the Ripley clone.

I have no desire at all, whatsoever to see Terminator vs. Predator, or a Predator vs. Predator - those ideas, in my opinion of course, are much better off in the comic world.

You couldnt see them on-screen clearly or for very long at all and were vastly insignificant characters who didnt do anything cool at all... The Ancients in AvP at least were in a cool and memorable flashback sequence and fighting plus the whole head-on-a spike-thing which I thought was the only reason why HT made the AncientS in the first place.

I know you're only joking but before anyone gets excited, TvP won't happen as they are owned by two different license holders: Fox and MGM.

You don't have to understand, any more than I need to understand why someone would pay $2000+ for a single collectible. Just accept that we exist, and judging by the sales of the Lost Predator there are enough of us to make it economically viable.

Anyway, Hot Toys are a business - if it will make money they will at least consider it. The Lost Predator has sold out, Machiko hasn't, and that will probably inform their future decision-making (obscure movie preds vs custom designs). I would be VERY surprised if their Predator line finishes with P1.

If HT do more Lost Preds I would hope they will base the figures on the fleetingly glimpsed characters as a starting point only. It'd give the creatives at HT freedom to come up with some new Bio-masks, weapons and a good selection of skulls for a trophy cabinet. I think that just shows it - all any of us can state categorically is what we would like to see / be willing to buy. But personally, I love the wider "race of hunters" concept even if it's only been hinted at in AVP and P2, which is why I'd be willing to buy more Lost Hunters - and I'm surprised no-one has really touched it before.

As regards why we'd see more Predators before Harrigan, I'd guess the big issue would be likeness - A decent Harrigan would need Danny Glover's blessing, and this has been a thorny issue in many cases for Hot Toys. OTOH if they can continue to churn out and sell slightly retooled and repainted Predators, it's a good cash cow for them.

But that never stopped HT making Kane, Drake, Vasquez, Apone, Hudson or Ripples who were made without license either?
