Sadly, I think it's pretty clear that the USA is just not meant to advance past the Group round. If it's not the a-hole FIFA refs screwing us, it's our own near misses.

Seriously. I don't think I've never seen a soccer match with so many blown opportunities. The U.S. seems to constantly be in scoring position, only to blow it time and again.

Yeah this is starting to hurt now. If they can pull a goal out here in the end that's great, but they should be running up the score like Portugal did to Korea on Monday.

Doesn't appear that way. They're still playing very aggressively. They are just BARELY missing these goals.
