I'd say Bama, Clemson and OU look to be locks. Hawkeyes as well if they beat MSU. I'm liking Bama

Clemson is the only one I am not 100% about . MSU or Iowa are in for sure. MSU only loss will be a controversial loss.

There was at least one second left in that ND/Stanford game and the refs called it. ND still had a small chance at a miracle play.

SEC Title - Alabama vs Florida - Alabama

ACC Title - North Carolina vs Clemson - Clemson

BIG10 Title - Michigan State vs Iowa - Michigan State

PAC12 Title - Stanford vs USC - Stanford

BIG12 Champs - Oklahoma

My Top 4
1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Michigan State
4. Oklahoma


What if North Carolina beats Clemson, Florida beats Bama, and USC beats Stanford? Ohio State might have a shot to make it unfortunately. Top 4 would be very hard to pick

Two loss Florida SEC champs? Two loss Bama? One loss Clemson? Baylor? Ohio State? Iowa one loss? Three loss USC? One loss North Carolina ACC champs? I think North Carolina deserves to be in at that point. Hate to say it... but Ohio State would then be the team to pick to round it out in my opinion. Lots of choices though if that scenario happens.

I don't know about Florida though. I know they value champions, but honestly... you look at how bad they played tonight.... how good is Bama that lost to Florida then? Ohio State has been the better team. National champs last year, that might trump the SEC title. Look how much they valued FSU last year (even if they were undefeated, they struggled all year but that National Title two years ago helped them last year). Could make an argument saying Florida State then deserves to be in becuase by extension they are better than the best team of the SEC. I think USC is pretty much eliminated though. A three loss PAC12 champ won't get in no matter what. Then there is Iowa... if it all lets loose, MSU beats them... does a one loss Iowa team get in? Only guaranteed team in is still a BIG10 team though.

That is proof that 8 is too many teams. Too many teams who dont deserve to be there would get added. I don't think a single team has an can really complain about being left out now that ND lost. If they had won then they could be the one who got left out this year.

The Gators won't come close to beating Alabama. The offense has been atrocious for weeks. I'm still pleased with season overall. The stink of Muschamp has faded well.

That won't happen, but if it did they would announce they are changing to an 8-team playoff the next day.

Iowa vs MSU was a good game.

Top 4 locked in now.

My guess....

Clemson vs Oklahoma and Alabama vs Michigan State.

I think MSU gets put ahead of Oklahoma since they played a conference championship game. Plus, to me, the harder schedule.

I hope not Clemson and Oklahoma don't play first. I think they are the best two teams.

Iowa Mich St was a boring game. I was shocked they even scored a touchdown.

South Carolina hire Will Muschamp as their new HC. Good luck Gamecocks.

Florida-Michigan Citrus Bowl should be fun. The offense can't do anything and Michigan's strength is their defense. I can't wait for Will Grier to come back next year.

Fournette was snubbed for the Heisman, as expected. In college football, it pays to play well toward the end of the season rather than early on in multiple ways. But the real shame of it all is that Fournette was a victim of his O-line's bad play and bad coaching toward the end of the season. He's also victim to a game cancelled due to weather. He has more yards per game than Henry, who will probably win. Oh, well. The system is biased toward offensive skill position players anyway. I don't follow college football all that closely, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the best player was really an O-lineman or a defensive back.

I don't see why Henry deserves it. I think Clemson QB is most deserving. I'm just fatigued by sports media blowing Alabama.
