Why thats only his first championship as coordinator. He was only co O coordinator sark in 2005 and 2006 and USC didnt win those years. Plus USC was just as good the yer after he left with sark as the O cord.

I can't imagine Saban would go to the NFL. He's a god in Alabama, is in total control there, and knows how to recruit and win. Last time he went to the NFL he got frustrated pretty quickly when things didn't work the same way they did for him at LSU. I could only see him going if he wanted to really challenge himself on a whole other level, with less control over who comes in, and less control over diva players, in competition with teams that would have a lot more parity to his own. But I think he learned his lesson with Miami.

I think your right, they talked with Brian Kelly about heading to the NFL and he said that what he likes about the college level is he has complete control of everything which is why he likes to stay in Norte Dame, so I think Saban feels the same way.

I can only see him go for his ego. He is god there and doesn't need to go but I imagine he can't enjoy keep hearing how badly he failed in the NFL so the question is how important for his ego to get rid of that knock on him.

6-6.5 by game time depending on who you used. Nonetheless Bama didn't cover so I imagine Vegas paid out a lot. And Vegas paid out on the over with the 85 pts scored. Last I saw the o/u was 59 LOL.
