There is a difference between reissuing and remaking a figure. Sideshow won't reissue a product either, but that doesn't mean they won't make a new version. HT could make a new Endo (chromed maybe?) and that statement would still be true.

The Milk magazine article announcing the Reeve Superman said that new Endos were coming from HT, though we don't know any other details I don't think. Personally, I would expect minor variations on the existing molds. Why fix what ain't broke?

In that case, I'm wondering if SS intentionally keeps a few of these held back just to generate excitement and chat and free marketing (to their company). Good marketing strategy, seems to work.

i got lucky and found a battle damaged endo at a store in town that my dad works for so we got a discount and only payed 90 bucks for it

everyone keeps thinking they'll re-release this or make it better. but i still love my BD endo that i bought for retail and i wouldn't sell it for $1000. it's my favorite Terminator collectible. they'll never release the endo with the Plasma guns again. if they ever make another endo it will be a T1 endo. it will probably be chromed and come with the lone metal bar that reese attacks it with. i'll still be enjoying my V1 endo with plasma guns and skull base though.

I'd get a T1 endo if didn't come with futuristic weapons, just aslong as the hands and head sculpt matched the Screen used i'd be over the moon

ha! even less than i paid for mine. you're lucky. there aren't any stores where i live that sell any ht figures period.
that said, the endo is one of the few ht figures that's actually worth their highway robbery retail prices.

yepim lucky that the store started to carry hotoy/ sideshow figures . its were i get most of my hot toys/sideshow figures it takes a bit longer for them to get them instock but the discount makes the wait worth it

How can you be sure they won't release the Endo again, even with the plasma rifles? It doesn't seem smart at all not to release them as there are still people out there who would gladly buy them off, such as me. I doubt they would want to miss a business opportunity like that. Companies make such statements all the time (such as 'we are not working on this project'-'you won't see this stuff from us' etc), but things keep coming. But I haven't been keeping up with Hot Toys for long so I can't speak assuredly like most people here.

If HT's can make 3 versions of both Batman and Joker they WILL redo the Endo and Kyle Reese imo.

They will probably redo and improve the endo but something will be missing that was included with the previous versions.
