3-5 Days until Luke & Yoda!!

I am not freaking out. Luke looks great. I just hope I can pose Yoda so he is not grabbing Luke's nipple and also so he's not looking right into the back of Luke's head.

They almost always ship items out first to those who ordered first. It's just my bad luck that when they happen to stray from that formula, it happens to be with a Star Wars PF--my favorite line. There were some wait listers who got their Grievous PFs shipped before me and I lost my mind for a few days. Now the same has happened with Luke. These are just the best things coming out of Sideshow and the wait kills me. Please ignore or forgive my impatience!!






(And once again, I would like to encourage everyone to add me to your ignore list the week that Boba Fett ships out. My numerous posts will be childish, inflammatory and bordering on incoherent if a wait lister gets his Fett PF shipped before mine.)

Did you do Flex Pay? Maybe that's it. I didn't do Flex Pay myself--in fact, mine is going to be free, so I am not going postal as I did with Grievous. (One should not bite the hand that feeds you.) I won a $450 gift certificate google) last year and saved it to use on the next Star Wars PF--my favorite Sideshow line. When Luke & Yoda went up for preorder I dusted off my coupon code and placed my order for free. So even if mine is the very last to ship, I will still have no room to complain!

I don't know about the Luke and Yoda but with John Wayne PF my last flex pay comes out on the 20th and he should ship out after that.

So Yoda does have the arms to pull plastic out of a dolphin stomache...
Damn. If I can't get the arms positioned so they look proportionate with the rest of his body, Yoda might just have to have some surgery with a dremmel and some superglue.

It is completely positionable. You can adjust the backpack straps, how far down Yoda is in the backpack and his arms/hands.

That's the problem. SDCC was when the initial red flags went up. The arm length at SDCC was too long whereas the pre-production photos had the correct arm proportions.

Hmmm, does the part where Luke's torso meets his right leg look right? Almost looks like a hip joint on one of their 1/6 scale figures. Just the angle perhaps? So far I'm not blown away. Hopefully the pics just aren't translating well since this was to be my "holy grail" SW PF.

As for myself, I am really looking forward to getting Luke. I think the new shot makes the arms look better now that he has been repositioned. Looks more like the preview shot.

Adjusting the pack on Lukes left shoulder tighter made a huge difference. The problem before it the pack was lose and yoda hung in the middle of lukes back. Now yoda is more over lukes left shoulder. I still had to mess with the arm angles and hands to get it like that but I like the way it looks. To me its MUCH better then what we saw at SDCC. I will say I think the arms are a lil long but I think that helps get yodas arms where are in this photo. Is it perfect, no. Am I happy yes. Is all that matters YES!

I had thought about this piece, mainly for the Exclusive, but $300 for a head is a bit much. As far as the statue, it's a great moment to capture, very iconic, but the look on Look and Yoda's face just seems so departed from the film. Yoda was very serious looking in all of his scenes in ESB, once he revealed himself anyway, and he looks all jolly in this piece, and look just looks like his mind took a walk off the map. The craftmanship is superb, but the facial expressions are just off to me.
