Just ordered 10 RO stormtroopers to load up the troop transport. Was back and forth on the remnant version but the weathering pattern too repetitive.

Nice, I still have that Luke. I had the early navy blue with gray vest variant. That was the first Jedi Luke I ever owned.

Having successfully removed the Retro sticker on my ESB figures I managed to rip the Tarkin one pretty badly on the weekend

Was going to open him at first but decided to instead try and cover it up with an era accurate sticker instead:

Pretty happy with that as an alternative now for any future accidents.

Fake Kenner sticker on a fake Kenner figure on a fake Kenner card. Seems like a good fit

Nice fix. I ruined a Leia card and now am too scared to try the others. :lol

The hair dryer technique has worked the best for me so far. I have the 6 figures from last year in the mail and will risk it again on them now that I have a fall back option.

This one I think I did it too quick and thought it was left over sticker at first, not me actually ripping the card!

Got my Slave One today

-Looks terrific, great paintjob though not without some quirks that I'm not sure were deliberate. The recent Luke X-Wing also had a great paintjob. Pity the BMF, BAT-AT, Snowspeeder and AT-STs all have crap to non-existent paintwork.

-The opening side panel doesn't sit totally flush when closed but it's not too noticeable

-I can't seem to get the wings to go fully into flight mode, they move about a quarter of the way back to landing mode by themselves.

-of course I ****ed up the placement of 2 of the stickers. :gah: You guys know what happens, they adhere before you've got the correct position and if you don't then commit you'll ruin the sticker so one is slightly crooked and another is both slightly crooked and attached higher than the sticker on the other side. And what's with having random decals for weird parts of the ship and yet the cockpit controls of all things have absolutely nothing? That's bizarre.

-lastly on the downer list the box arrived damaged, all sorts of crumpling, I'm an opener but still, with the vintage packaging one wishes it would arrive mint.

Other than all of this I'm happy enough and can cross Slave One off my list. Really now just missing the Barge and some decent modern Speeder Bikes from the OT vehicle collection.

Congrats.

Yeah sticker decisions are very weird on Hasbro?s part.

Hopefully speeder bikes are next but 6 inch scale for them would be greatly appreciated.

Great, I thought I was the only one suffering from OCD panic attacks when placing stickers. :lol

Totally regret not getting those when they were on a deep discount!

Hate it. In '95, with my over-eagerness to get on with playing with my new toy, I misapplied the Millenium Falcon's 6 grille stickers - I failed to recognize they were supposed to have a specific directionality and I just put them on any ol' way. When I eventually saw my error it annoyed the ever-living crap out of me until I got the OTC Falcon in 2004 or so. I was damn sure not to make the same mistake again.

Meanwhile my solution to the problem on my '95 Falcon was to let dust get so thick it obscured the grilles :lol

Can you post pics of the Slave 1? Thanks.
