Glad to hear we will be getting at least one more unlock. It?s got to be those carbonite blocks, right? Hope to see this painted soon too.

It's almost too obvious. They specifically showed those sliding hooks and even mentioned the blocks as possibility. I hope it is though, at this point it's probably the most appropriate inclusion. Hopefully some more pertinent 3.75" figures announced soon too.

I guess like a lot (most?) of Hasbro vehicles this is a touch under-scaled? In the video they mentioned that the figure prototype was up-sized so looked a bit big...

I would say this is one of their more accurately sized ships. It’s not a huge craft so and this seems fairly big. Certainly fudgable if it isn’t actually to scale.

It's actually INCREDIBLY undersized ..

Hasbro scale vs true to 1:18 (3.75) scale

JTA did a whole article on it

Great article, thank you for posting. Clears up alot of questions I have had about both Haslab projects. I would imagine Hasbro wanted to keep the price and scale of the Razor Crest under control as it probably is more appealing to more casual collectors than the Barge, thus translating into more sales. I regrettably skipped the Barge. Happy to be getting this Razor Crest but I gladly would pay more for an accurately scaled ship.

It's weird though because the Razor Crest does look like it is in scale, even though it isn't. The same as the Smugglers Run Falcon, no way accurate but feels right.

Thanks for that. I looked for some screen caps to confirm and was about to re-watch some episodes to see. It?s as I thought. More so actually, as others have mentioned on first glance it seems almost right.

I totally understand the why of it but it?s a little disappointing. Would have nowhere to put the existing one as it is.

Make 2 versions.

Accurate scale for those with the money (ie; space) who can display an entire SW fleet of ships properly.

Scaled down scale for those who live in a studio apartment lol

Then they?d tempt me and I?d hate them. [emoji38]

I have the space I just don?t want a giant Star Wars spaceship in it.

Or ... do I ... ?? [emoji848]

If you are a fan of SW and have the required sized space for an impressive uncluttered display of SW ships in accurate 1:18 or 1:12 scale then you should be begging them to make it.

But at that point if you don’t also have a 1:1 scale land speeder and 66 batmobile in your garage you are doing something wrong lol

:lol

I have one 30? x 14? room in my house I used to keep my collection in; since re-purposed but that?s really the only spot I could keep a true 1:18 scale Razor Crest. Has Lab?s is too small so I?m safe!

There then lies the dilemma

Of all the SW ships that can be made in proper scale or not the RC is not the one I would fall on the proverbial valuable space sword for.

That’s just me of course i’m sure someone out there is building a RC interior man cave as we speak lol

Fair. Back when HT showed their 1/6 TIE I would have given the room to that thing...

Almost every single star wars vehicle hasbro has put out is under scaled. Including the barge, which is also very very under scaled.

Even something already small like a speeder bike is somewhat under scaled. Its about balancing cost, space and playability. As well as scaling with ther other vehicles (which are not one uniform scale. A speeder bike is less under scaled than the sail barge is)

On the big Millennium falcon for example, the figures are bigger than the doorways. Its very under scaled as well.

The reason they don't often feel so sma is because they're generally just big enough to feel big enough. Especially in comparison to other vehicles.
