Anything fishy here? Any reason to think this extra step would impact my ability to get a refund if the package never arrives which, after doing a search on SpeedPak, is a possibility?
They just wanted to save money on shipping sounds like; hopefully that’s all there is.
It would’ve been easier to send you a worthless item through whatever means to try to prove something was delivered in an actual scam which is one of the most common methods. They also probably would’ve pushed back against PayPal goods and services in the first place.
Did they update the PayPal transaction with the SpeedPak shipping info? I don’t think SpeedPak is very trackable so the package might go dark for a while.
If it doesn’t show up within the 180 days, as long as all the steps are documented then you can open a case and submit all your back and forth communication to PayPal.
