Yeah, I can live with the changes. Hoped they would have been unpunched cards but oh well.
Uh-oh, we got a MOC Nazi over here.
I ended up getting most of the original TVC line like that and also without offers, so was hoping to keep that same thing going. The tri-language card and new bubble size are probably more glaring though. The best was the old VOTC line with the clamshell since it meant they could keep the cards the way they originally were, plus if you buy one today you can still get them in great shape when you take them out of the clamshell. But this day and age the costs are so high without that added expense.

Im really interested in the barge but I start over analyzing: I think man- 500 bucks and what if it comes out like a cheap flimsy 2 pound shell of a toy?
I also think in terms of man- I could get HT Palps ands guard for that...

Problem is I haven’t seen what they’ve put out lately but the BMF, new snowspeeder and BAT-AT were all really nicely done during the best days of TVC.
I seriously doubt that. With TRU’s closure seriously impacting Hasbro’s stocks and revenue, they aren’t going to be taking unnecessary risks. I think it’s truly 5,000 or bust now more than ever.
Don’t think like that. Back it. It’s going to be a collectors item. Only 5k made!

Haha - I wrote that as someone who had to hunt down all the vintage Kenner ESB and ROTJ figs with no offers on the cards. Hey, they ended up being worth a premium.

If you are analyzing that much, just pull the trigger on it.
It looks great, probably as good from normal viewing distance as an actual sail barge model - which will never be produced and cost a fortune to have someone finish as well. This barge could have the railings tweaked lower and use those unleashed Hasbro figs (though they didn't do many useful Jabba figs at that scale) for a properly scaled model - its only the interior that the scale is noticeably distorted.
yeah, stuff like that newer/smaller snowspeeder really were like scaled models, even the paint was great.
Yeah, I was just thinking that. If they only needed 4000, they would have set the target at 4000. Setting it at the lowest number they can produce it for makes the only logical sense.

Yeah, the bubbles for the black and orange Black Series boxes fell off all the time. I don’t mind this addition.

About 900 left to go. This might be a real nail biter afterall. 900 in 5 days is still an uphill battle. Hard to say if this will get that last minute push a lot of Kickstarters get. That is still nearly 1/5 of the total funding and it’s taken 35 days to get the other 4/5.

I'm starting to feel optimistic about its chances for the first time. I thought it'd get to 4000 today but I certainly didn't think it'd keep going right on up to 4106 at time of posting.
Maybe there really is enough people out there collecting this stuff....and enough people mad enough to order multiples.
What happens if we get to 5k and then a few hundred don't pay up (which happens on a smaller scale in KickStarter projects). Would Hasbro go back and extend it and require up front payment, go forward with what they have or just cancel it all together since it missed 5k paying customers?
Good I hate long waits.
