They're bringing the 40th BS Vader head to 3.75"!

Vader looks beautiful for a 5poa figure.

That Vader does look nice, probably the best the 3.75'' line can muster - and finally a plastic cape again instead of those soft goods monstrosities! I thought they'd never see the light.

As for the Luke, I can't help but laugh at them getting rid of the best and most useful joints but keeping the type of joint I hate the most - ball-joint head. :slap Granted there are worse examples of it than that Luke.

He’ll definitely look great next to their surprisingly nice Ben Kenobi from last year. I bought that three pack just for the emperor, but it’s nice having a Jedi Luke to display getting electrocuted with Sheev’s lighting hands. :lol

Apparently that wave has been showing up in a few different states. If anyone finds that Vader in stores please let me know. :peace

damn, shocked these are in stores already. Saw them at two walmarts today (Sorry Captain Clown, just now seeing your post!)

Ahh I wish Vader was double packed since he’s the only new figure in the assortment. Everyone else is a repack.

And it’s fine haha, I’m going to search around a few Targets & Walmart today

There were quite a few Vaders at both stores I went to, I dont think he'll be too hard to get. I need to get one for my carded Vader collection, love that card art!

Had to pass today though because I blew my wad on some Target Gamorrean guards and a Marvel Legends Black Knight. Shocked I actually found an infinity war wave 2 figure on the shelf!

Gotcha. Thank you very much for the info. :duff I kinda want to get two, one to display stock and one to maybe try using the head with one of the more articulated 3.75" Vader bodies, since apparently the head is a scan of the 40th Black Series one.

I still gotta find those Gamorrean Guards. I think my Target has them in the back room but is holding them until they sort their toy isle out.

Ahhh that's why the Vader looks so good then! Honestly the last Rouge One Vader was really super nice too.

Yeah, I got really lucky and came across a fresh case of the Gammys. 3 went home with me (one for me, two for a buddy at work), and another collector there took the 4th. The employess were telling me I lucked out because they've been getting a flood of calls and people coming in for them the last few days.

Anyone getting the Solo Vandor playset? I like the look of it but not sure if I like the price at $49 dollars. I saw a few in my target and box was pretty heavy.

Eh, I dunno yet. $50 for cardboard feels kinda scummy. I might get one when it inevitably hits clearance.

Those undersized cardboard playsets are a big pass for me. If they're cheaping out and using cardboard, they may as well make them more to scale!

Only reason I even like them is they remind me of old Kenner players with Jawa and AT-AT...didn’t realize they were undersized.

haha yeah, when you look at the back of the box and see the actual chewie figure on the train, that's when you notice it. I guess the rest of the playset is fine :huh

Either way, 44.99 is way too much for this for me!

Went to a few different Targets and Walmarts with no luck on that Vader. Just that cardboard Vandor set. But yeah, if anyone picks up and extra one or two i’ll gladly pay for your troubles. :peace

Was surprised to see that Target exclusive BS Chewie though. I passed though because I’m not a fan of Hasbro’s Chewbacca figures.

Of course they're undersized. They're not going to put an 8 foot cardboard train on toy shelves. I love how these are a throwback to the cardboard cut out displays of the 70's/early 80's (which were also undersized.)

Of course I wouldn’t expect an 8 foot train, its just supposed to be the front coming out of the mountain, not the entire train.

Almost every playset and vehicle in the vintage line was underscaled, I had most and loved them. Holding this in the store gave me no nostalgic feelings at all though.

But hey man, if these float your boat and make you happy - enjoy bud! :duff

I only saw them at Walmart, dont think theyve hit Targets yet, but I’ll grab one or two for you if I see them again soon!

"Making me happy" might be a little strong but I definitely think these new sets have an appealing old school charm. ;)

I hear ya! I'm just hoping for some better vehicles again in the 3 3/4" line at some point that don't cost $80 bucks and up

I'd love a Force Link Tauntaun to go with Hoth Luke and the Wampa. Maybe a two-pack with Hoth Han?
