Is it definitely GSP they're using? I can't even see it mentioned in the ebay listing just a strong red emphasis of ''Does not ship to Ireland''

Had to look at the item page again. GSP is indeed in use for that listing. Estimated Import fees are listed on my tab.

These guys came quick from walmart! Mimban trooper here completes my 3.75 solo collection :)

Good old Canadaland still has series one figures at our Walmarts and Toy R Us :(

Same here in the Los Angeles area :( The over-ordering of wave one killed all the other waves at retail I'm thinking. I was lucky to get those two troopers from Wal-Marts website.

That stinks, I hope you manage to get one. I've fallen in love with this thing so I will try my hardest to get one - but what I don't understand is how they're going to sell it to countries in such different time zones. With no idea when it's going up you could easily wake up that day and find all of them have been sold to fans on the other side of the world.

It's not looking good. Current ebay prices from personal sellers are more than I can stomach and it looks like they would be my only option unless a UK or EU retailer happens to acquire and sell one. I presume that'd be at a mark-up aswell. So I dunno.

Even though I was never planning on getting this the second hand luster of the barge will definitely be tainted if you don't end up with one a-dev. That would just be wrong because I know you've been chomping at the bit to get this since day one.

Thanks Khev. I wonder if it'd be worth messaging Hasbro pulse to ask why Ireland and so many other countries are still excluded. GSP typically ships here no problem.

I'm thinking it might be because of the limited remaining supply - they decided to restrict to only the biggest non-US markets for this, and I guess Ireland barely registers.

Paying those other non-Hasbro pulse ebay prices would suck. I can't remember what I paid for the Hot Toys 1989 Batmobile but I don't think it exceeded a grand - and yet I'd have to pay close to 1.5 for this Hasbro toy if I buy the current cheapest one from a personal seller on ebay.

Hey a-Dev, I was just thinking - could you not collect it from an Argos in the north? Or change your eBay and PayPal addresses to an Argos in the north? The other option might be to rent some storage space in the North and then when you see it's about to be delivered drive over and collect it.

Or just change your eBay postal address to Stormont Castle and then when they refuse the delivery go and pick it up from the depot? You'll have the tracking number after all so you can follow it online.

Free market capitalism. Don't you support that?

Thanks for continuing to ponder my situation. :)

I suppose the thing is I'd sooner pay an ebay seller markup just to avoid the hassle of doing that^

It's a test, a test to see how badly I want this. And y'know what, I'm not sure anymore. Those years where it appeared Hasbro had abandoned the 3.75'' line, together with the fact that most of my SW collection has been in boxes for something like 10 years now has put a serious dent in my SW collecting fandom where I'm here considering just passing altogether on what was once a grail. Of course that in turn begs the question why bother buying anything else like the new Skiffs or that Jabba's palace playset. I have those on preorder. Hmmm.

A-dev, you don’t have anyone in the states that you collect with that can hook you up? Is that possible? We have a group of old farts and one is in the UK and we get stuff to him all the time. Just recently he was able to grabe a bunch of us the Hoth exclusive, which was really cool. Surely with all your time on here you have a bud with a cost plus shipping arrangement.

I didn't look into making such an arrangement with anyone because there was good reason to believe they'd do an international run - alas Hasbro failed to mention even that would be limited to just a few countries and only disclosed this information with that unannounced ebay link popping up last week or whatever.
