Curious how figures are packaged when shipping from Hasbro Pulse. I ordered Yak, Leia and Klatuu from them I was hoping they would ship together but I just received shipping notification for just Yakface!!

Rebelscum really has a sense of humor... a dark sense of humor.:lol

managed to snag one as well. Prepared for the event a couple hours before actual selling time. Glad i didn't think twice before clicking that BIN button.

Hopefully, more are coming. 400 is just a ridiculous amount to cover the whole overseas collector community. Just a wild guess. Hasbro may want to check actual buyers are fulfilling all criteria every few hundreds orders, cancelling all invalid orders before putting more Barges up for sale.

That'll be why the exclusion list was so large. Still, not happy with this at all. Assuming they don't make more and assuming the aftermarket prices only get higher than they are right now that means I probably will not own what has always been my number one grail for the Star Wars toy line.

Even if I can get excited about future Haslab projects after this - is there any point in being excited or will they again bar me from being able to buy future hypothetical items?

That will have clearly taken the fire out of a lot of (overseas) collectors. There's no doubt the US collector market can sustain itself with no problem whatsoever, so it seems, but this experience will make Celebration IV motto "No fan left behind!" feel really old.

Just got my Barge. They sold out on eBay in 9 minutes. They only had 400, way less than expected.

Wow and congrats.:clap I had one in the cart as soon as it went up but ultimately I felt the piece was just too expensive all up for me and I think I'm now too married to 1/6 to make such a large commitment to 4" - in both $$$ but also in display space. I have a lot of the very best Hasbro 4" vehicles that are in storage boxes due to 1/6 taking up all the space.

If I could have gotten it for about $400 shipped it would have made it more enticing (despite the size and mega-coolness, I always felt the barge was more of a $350 pricepoint than $500, despite the crowd-funding genesis, and also would have loved it if the vehicle split so the box was smaller for somewhat cheaper shipping and less storage unwieldiness) and I've got stuff like the SSC Jabba and the custom 1/6 landspeeder on the horizon, both of which are in roughly the same $$$ range.

I did buy the new skiff and will maybe get the Jabba playset but I'll have to make do with you guys' pics of the barge. It's going to be a staggeringly awesome display piece and a stellar investment too - my guess is the thing will be worth $1000+ within a few months and be a "grail" piece for even regular SW collectors.

Had this come out ten years ago I would have been all over it.:gah::lol

Had I had the money I would have bitten....but sadly the barge is not for me. Just can't justify $1000+ on a piece of (albeit beautiful) plastic

I'm really bummed to see that a-dev may not be able get this. Before I passed on buying, I thought about buying it solely as an investment but then thought of people like a-dev that really wanted it and the investment (aka scalper) idea kind of stank so I just backed out. With only 400 in the mix, I'm glad I did - had no idea it was that low. If there was a way to send it affordably to Ireland I would have tried to work it out but it would have been like US$1000+ with shipping to me and then international shipping of such a massive box.

I really don't think that Hasbro will leave so much $$$ on the table - there's hundreds of thousands to be made in those excluded countries so they won't leave it like that for long. And because they always said there would be overseas stock, it's not like it will violate that "limited" thing they initially said with the US release.

In the end it’s a toy play set!! And I just don’t play with toys to justify the $$$$$. As beautiful as this piece is I’m happy for those who’s dreams have come true and were able to get one!!

I just find it hard to believe that there was only 400 for the rest of the world. I jumped in and bought one because I figured that if it doesn't look like £670 worth of toy when it gets here I can sell it without losing money.

I cannot believe they will never make any more, or even that there won't be any more batches for international buyers. Surely they'll rerelease it without the Yakface and Jabba and that will let them claim they haven't rereleased the same product.

I did have a closer look at the barge yesterday before it went up for sale (RS put up super detailed pics) and was pretty disappointed with how the Jabba figure came out. The paint looks pretty bad. I know it's kind of a bonus but still. The inclusion of the kitchen, jail and other EU stuff inside the barge did kinda bug me mostly because it was extra tooling that possibly added $100 to the cost, even if the EU cockpit does feel nicely "Kenner vintage" just like the size/scale distortion.

I would have preferred to have seen just the rear throne room area and the stairs leading up to the top deck being the only interior parts, but it doesn't take anything away from a really marvelous effort by Hasbro.
