I just realized that they totally took "Stumblios" out of 300. Poor Stumblios.

I realized that as I was watching too, but I dont think people would've gotten the joke without having read the book first.

Yes we can't have sexy Stelios falling on his face and ruining the perfect image of a Spartan soldier:D !!

Hey, if they could have Leonidas' Queen cheat on him, they can have 'Stumblios' fall on his face! :D

So true..... That was not even in the graphic novel....I was a bit pissed that she would commit adultery...I mean come on..how can you cheat on Leonidas...but in the end she got her justice!

I liked that Dominic West was in the film. The Wire is one of my favorite tv shows. Dominic West does a great job playing McNulty on the show. He is not in a lot of movies for some reason, but he did a great job in 300 I thought.

Yes he was the perfect traitor...pure sleeze with such a contemptuous grin on his face....it made me smile when Gordo slit his belly.

Loved it! Now I want figures of Spartans and Imortals to set up epic battle scenes!

We need a Sideshow "Huge pile of dead bodies" diorama. :D

The one consolation for me of her doing that is she was doing it for her king, to have reinforcements sent to aide the 300.

He was a real Pr**k (which means he was good)! I was glad when *spoiler* Queen Gorgo skewered his punk ass, the whole theater cheered!! :clap

You're so mean...I like that!!! Marry me? :love :D

That was awesome though wasn't it? I also liked when she said something about Spartan women giving birth to 'Real Men' or something. That was cool.

Gordo? :lol

Jen, there are people who still haven't seen it!!

Woops I meant Gorgo....see I was trying to confuse people...not give anything away...but your foiled my master plan!! :lol :lol

Yes, women don't get enough credit - and Gorgo had some great lines in that movie.

I saw it last night and it was great , but WTF is with people clapping and cheering during movies.

What's so wrong with that? People clap at plays, watching sporting events on TV, etc.. Why not at the movies? I do and it feels great! :monkey5

If you go to a movie on opening night/weekend it is a given that there will be diehard fans who are going to cheer/clap/scream....that's what is so great about going opening night! If you want to watch a movie in silence, best to go the following week or a matinee during the work week.

After a movie ok I can deal with that bt during the movie bugs me. People clap at the end of Plays and guess what they can hear you. Same with Sporting events players can hear you, so like I said WTF is with people clapping during a movie? What is the purpose? Maybe I am not geeky enough to understand it, but it seems to becoming an thing to do and well its just makes no sense to me and I have seen this happen at movies that have been out for weeks so its not fanboys and fangirls.

I really shouldn't be reading this thread, as I don't want any spoilers, but, at the same time, I wanna know what you guys thought of it....:D And it appears it gets the big thumbs up!

Once again, I express my absolute 100% jealousy that you guys can see it now. I, and the rest of Australia, have to wait until April 5.
