360 or PS3??

Is there a warranty you can send away for when you open up the ps3 like the 360?

I got an extended two year warranty after I oepned my X360 um.. box. I'm glad I signed up for it because not even 30 days after I bought it I had to return it to Best Buy for a replacement.

Most recently I go that X360 back from Microsoft after sending it away to be fixed. It hasn't even been two years. I'm not upset about it suffering a hardware failure, hardly. I just spent many, many hours earning 840 achievement points playing NBA STREET Homecourt.

The XBOX Live community is great. Anyone else would be very hard-pressed to get even close to duplicating that kind of console/consumer connection... Does Sony have a Major Nelson(Larry Hyrb)? I think not!

I really am glad I got an X360... Yay for Achievment points!

So you have to play with black bars is you have a widescreen TV with the Wii or suffer from bad zoomed graphics?

I don't have one but if its not going to look good on my TV or have to deal with the black bars on the side I guess that just killed Wii for me.

The black bars for extended periods of time can be bad for the TV.

no it will look fine if you just set it to 480i or 480p(in your tv AND the wii)
if you have a WS then set that to.

Even though Blu-Ray has been selling more per month lately than HD-DVD, HD-DVD has still sold more overall.


What's really sad is that if I get an Xbox 360 I can't play Xbox Live here on campus, it won't work on the network.

I just bought a PS3!!! :chew

I am impressed by the device,it is really quite cool but thus far I don't think it has the library of games to back it up nor has it had a game yet that has pushed it to its limits. I only ended up getting "Resistance: Fall of Man" which is fantastic.

I had some trouble setting up the Internet Connection so I got frustrated and stopped to play Resistance,when I stopped playing and tried the Internet Set-Up again...ironically it worked!

My gamer name is Bardoon as well.

The next game I'm looking forward to the most is Spider-man 3.Activision (?) has knocked them out of the park with this license...Spider-man 2 is still the best superhero action game in my opinion.

Yeah, watching the opening credits on Blu Ray is probably the best thing I've ever seen on my TV... except maybe Dsicovery HD, which is pretty hard to top.

Yeah i got it after playing the Downloaded demo on the PS3 then i had to have it(and i'm really not into most racing games but this is different)

I played the Motorstorm demo too,it was pretty cool but not enough for me to go out and buy it. Maybe if they knock it down later on I'll get it.

I will say that Playstation Network has a lot of catching up to do to X-Box Live.I like the option to continue playing games and such while you download like X-Box Live.

new patch coming out on the 22nd that will allow much more.(I'd grab resistance but i could care less about killing aliens after playing the demo)I'm more of a ghost recon guy....can't wait for GRAW2 this summer.But i mostly want SM3 and saints row till GTA4

Looks like Devil May Cry 4 is officially coming to 360 at the same time as the PS3 version.
