Just thought of an awesome Idea. Take a detolf, and lay it on its side and take out the metal beams that make the shelves. so you have a long clear rectangle (dont install the door so it has an open top) put in some rocks/fake vegetation to make a cool looking base/diorama. Then put all of you're Halo figures in there. It'd look amazing with noble team and you'd need the open top b/c of Jorge. Does a large horizontal shelf like that exist already?? The detolf makes me sad when I have to move a figure to lower shelf

This picture Jorge here doesn't accurately show his height by the way. his legs are bent ALOT more but you cant see it that well. it only looks like they are bent slightly but someone posted another angle of it on the old 3A forums and they are bent at like a 90 degree angle. But I cant find that picture because they like delted the old forums

Agree spizz.
So used to factory new look on hot toys, especially the iron man armours. Bugs me that even the battle damaged stuff is fairly clean. Wish I had steadier hands and the confidence to weather almost all my 6 cases worth of various figures.

Be glad to branch out and have a chief in my collection. Do hope the halo 5 armour stays the same. Saw the trailers and it seemed the same (although I am sure I saw something around his lower chest).
As a viewer/gamer I love to see my favorite characters in movies or games evolve their look but as a collector, my bank hates the inevitable desire to upgrade and own the new looks

And again spizz. I thought of that a while ago as easy side of my TV is a detolf, the distance is perfect for a sideways detolf propped up between the others and above the TV. Epic front room then.
My only worry was that the ikea glass has give and not thick enough to not bend to worrying levels with weight on it.
Now if we could replace the new "bottom" shelf glass with say cheap but strong acrylic.... ;-)

That'd be so sick like a spartan antfarm/3d battle scene. I'd love to do a coffee table with a glass top and have them all doing battle on similar terrain you described. Really excited to see how they do an elite, so many options and variants. I wish 3A gave the halo line more attention. Until I move and get proper room, mine loom overhead.

As it happens I scored my EVA from someone in this very forum, he mentioned wanting the regular release but had paid for the exclusive. The robot in the back is Threezero's titanfall atlas. Don't get it because you'll be enraged everytime you pickup another figure with any sort of problems. Joints so strong you'll be unable to believe how any other large figures don't copy their exact method.

So what figure would be you're most wanted figure to come out? (besides Jorge since there is a prototype) and least wanted?

My most wanted: would be an ODST, preferably the Rookie from Halo ODST (3A would nail it with all the extra gear those ODST's had. Would love to have that Entire Squad)

Least Wanted: Palmer. Please no 3A do not make her. She was annoying the whole game. I fear this because many of the other company's that got the halo license have done Palmer. And I'm curious how 3A would do with making a human face...

Its funny but Palmer would be my biggest want, what with her two pistols, crappy attitude, and unique armor. BAMF.
Obviously super excited for Jorge too. Would be a sick sculpt. Now, they've said they'd do an elite so I'm thinking it likely they'd do the arbiter. The question is whether it'd get an exclusive variant or an exclusive weapon. Probably weapon since it wouldn't require new armor. If that's true then we'd get a separate Elite, possibly with a unique colorway and I'd guess a style from Reach.
Though I prefer the gold Zealot from Halo 2


Now I'd like a Locke (looks like cool and unique armor) but the actor playing him on nightfall and halo 5 peeves me because he's never played halo and doesn't game at all. I mean come on we really couldn't get an actor who loves halo how hard could it possibly be. I really hope Halo 5 doesn't butcher the series, I was worried just seeing Locke's POV trailers but John's was reassuringly awesome
Can't find a good shot but apparently Locke has some extra gizmos and zipzorps on his back.

Yup. I'm quite certain that Keith David isn't gamer at all.

That said, I don't think Colter is a particularly good actor based on what I've seen.

Speaking of "talent", Halo nightfall was produced by Ridley Scott and was supposed to be a slamdunk.

Instead it was a mess that could have been amazing. They CHANGED and ignored established cannon (degenerating hunters intelligence), showed the highest tier of UNSC Military (ONI operatives) turning on each other something THAT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN (COLE PROTOCOL GOD), and pardon my opinion if its biased, but the guy playing Locke was only decent and once I saw an interview where he discloses how little he games and how little he knew of halo it was clear that related in his performance. I wanted that show to be epic but they kept taking liberties they shouldn't have.

In the future, adapters should be required to read Eric Nylund's canon books, and the Kilo 5 series for an example in proper adaptation that still incorporates a personal touch.

I thought Palmer was kinda annoying in spec ops but her armor does look pretty cool. I'd rather have Kat come up before here though. Jorge will be incredible...and hope they go with the lowest ranking elite (minor?) from reach! And yes Lockes voice in the halo 2 anniversary cut scenes seemed so dopey. but in the live action he was legit. sounded way better. Im probs not watching that live action thing. Live action halo stuff always looks kinda cheap/underbudget like the cgi isnt that great and I cant get into it
