Just got a call from the courier. Mine is arriving in about 30mins. Time to scream at MC.

You might be able to just refuse delivery and have them send it back so you can get a refund without paying shipping. But I don't know if 3As customer service wants you to ship them back there.
I am still debating whether to keep mine or not :/

Look how his knees bend in when you put his feet too far apart as opposed to the NECA one which looks like they are actual human knees that support weight.
Also, how did you get him to hold the weapons? Is he mostly just balancing it in his left hand. I can't quite tell but it doesn't look as thought his right hand is actually holding the gun handles.
I used sticky tack on both hands lol... there's no way he can hold it without some sort of support
I don't really "get" the LED lights on the figure. They just don't really work on him.
That 1/4 NECA MC looks solid as **** next to the 3A MC, is there a way to shrink that to a 1/6 scale? Geeez! Gotta admit though, the 3A MC looks good in certain angle, but I'm crossing my fingers for a return/refund with minimal to no shipping cost.
Nice noble six custom! Is the head from another toy or did you make it yourself?
Design killed Master Chief.
1. The thick rubber under suit is made by gluing a top half to the bottom " trousers". This severely restricts movement at the hips. If they made the bottom trousers in 3 parts , groin , left and right leg , sacrificing aesthetics for articulation, the hip might have some improved movement
2. An extremely weak hip ratchet joint is used that is unable to overcome the resistance provided by the thick rubber undersuit. A VERY VERY stiff ratchet joint to replace this will help regain some articulation in the hips
Saw this on Facebook:
Given this info, maybe someone can figure out how to mod the hip joints to be usable?
Baby steps...And the arms. And hands.
I got a thinner clear nail polish from the local pharmacy and dripped it into the shoulder joints, then moved the arms a lil bit here and there while it cured.
Baby steps...
Someone on the 3A forums tightened up the shoulder joints:
Probably when I bought an Xbox One to play the Master Chief Collection...Halo just can't catch a break! That looks good I'll definitely be trying that. Still boggles my mind how acceptable problems like this are in this industry. I mean christ you're dropping several hundred dollars, whens the last time you spent a couple hundred on something and weren't completely satisfied.
