The DOTM optimus prime model kit is much cheaper though but the proportion is better, money shouldn't be a reason.

3a just set a really high bar with their Bumblebee figure. I'm looking forward to them matching or exceeding that level of quality with Prime.

I think it's safe to say he won't be out until at least May. I personally think it'll be June at the earliest.

Well Bumblebee was up for preorder in December of 2014 and he was shipped out in November 2015. Megatron went up for preorder in January of 2015 and it's now January 2016 and he's scheduled to be released this month (yeah right).

So take that into account when thinking about how Optimus went up for sale at the very end of June.

That is the date that Diamond has listed, but I seriously doubt it'll ship by then.
