Here is an idea for a movie...

News is leaked that the world has five days before an asteroid strike which will obliterate the earth...

The rest of the film follows various personal stories of how different groups of people make their peace with the world and their loved ones.

This would not be a disaster movie but more of a morality play. All set next to the chaos that would naturally happen if the world was given this news.

Sounds like Armageddon mixed in with Independence Day and a few other movies. Lame IMO. It's already been done.

You're wrong those films were special effect loaded. Mine would be more about character. No end of the world CGI.

What would you do if you knew for a fact you had "5 Days Left"? That is the type of stories I'm talking about.

I love this line. I always find myself asking this type of question of "Why change diet when you know you already have diabetes?" or "Why make peace now that the world will end?" People.

Yeah you're right that would be the backdrop.

The question remains what would you personally do if you had "Five Days Left"... repair broken relationships, vacation (imagine the lines), or run wild?

Looting and crime sprees would be useless. What would you need to have, if you'd be gone in five days.

i like the concept but i would want more time ........like a couple more weeks maybe.

The real world doesn't work the way that you think it does. It would be total chaos and you would spend your time just trying to stay alive and keep your ^^^^.

I don't know... That is why the premise is fascinating... With "Five Days Left" you could take all of my belongings away and I wouldn't bat an eye...

I would defend my loved ones to the max, on the other hand.

And on top of that, I would share what ever I had in excess of what I needed for those five days.
