Those clothes look pretty bad. Like something you'd see on one of mezco's 1/12 collection figures.

I can't see the crotch grabber in action in any of the photos, and thinking about it they usually photograph figures without them fo aesthetic reasons.
A crotch grabber for Rain would deform the baggy jeans, so I think they may have gone for a waist grabber as they did with her original showing:
In the Secret Base display the waist grabber looks to have the added bonus of making her shirt drape more loosely, so it's not clinging as tightly as in the promo pictures:
Another option would be to partly tuck the shirt in to create volume:

This angle really did her dirty. Her neck is gone. She's drowning in that shirt. Clothes in general look several sizes too large compared to the movie. The WY logo is obscured. Why is the Xeno head on the edge of the base like that, and why is the best part of it only seen in the reflection of the glass?

At Secret Base they probably moved the arms down over the waistband of her jeans to push the shirt out.
Water treatment might get it to sit better over her shoulders, and if it won't stay down from her neck one tuck into the jeans as in the movie still should help.

Yeah, should have been an easy fix which is why I'm guessing they were able to do a quick update there.
The right forearm/hand looks terrible though and seems like a placeholder design, I posted some feedback requesting for a seamless forearm/hand sculpts that can switched out at the elbow. The right elbow joint would be covered by the arm band, while her left hand can be kept the same since the wrist band would cover up the wrist joint.
They should hire you.
Such a no-brainer, especially to see them side by side and just how natural the whole presentation would look compared to what we have now.
I’m glad the little picture I made that I noticed being shared on the interwebs probably got them to listen to revise the eye color lol.

HT really dropped the (eye) ball on this one.
I'm glad they eventually picked the right ones up, but all those brown-eyed promo photos aren't doing them any favours for those on the fence about pre-ordering, which in turn may impact on Andy being made.

I don't think Hot Toys saw the edit I made of her eyes in blue, I think what caught their attention was the countless comments from Chinese and Western collectors alike saying her eye color should be blue. 
Most of their eyes are universal too so they could've easily changed them at any time. Now they should officially update the change on their social media.

But yeah, the feedback was initially provided via the picture I had made minutes after the promo pics were posted, comparing the proto to the source. I noticed some people took it from here and started sharing it on FB.
Lots of people then caught wind of this inaccuracy and started letting them know even without the picture. Another user here also relayed to the artist directly on their Instagram post as well. Overall, community came together this time and I’m glad they revised it.
There’s various other tweaks they can do but much more unrealistic. Her eyebrows for one are completely wrong shape and thickness.

I keep reading all the critics saying the clothing is turning them off…. I get the t-shirt material is too thick, I can see that. So it looks stiff and over sized because it doesn’t hang.
Ideally more neck needs to show and quite a lot of the time in the film the neck is pulled to one side with a bra/under layer shoulder strap showing.
But I think one of the issues for some vocal people is the original outfit is pretty unflattering. It’s all baggy and over sized, added to the fact she is 5’1” and she does look quite…. Stumpy…. Don’t get me wrong I think she looks great in the film but people are used to tall, leggy female figures with tight figure hugging clothing and big busts. I just think people are hung up on that because this figure doesn’t look “feminine” enough to their limited tastes. The same people who unzip black widow costumes to show cleavage
