I think Comic-Con is worth it just to go by the Sideshow booth. There's plenty to do without having to go through long lines. I'll eventually go some year, once I'm able to make plans that far ahead.

Yea, that's when you wish it was ok to beat other peoples kids.

The worst is watching the parents buy them stuff when they are throwing a fit in the store when the were originally told no. :duh

And hearing "Ok calm down honey. I will buy this for you but you have to promise to be good from now on." Ha!

From what you all are saying SDCC sounds crazy. I would like to go sometime but it does sound kind of like it is mad.

I go to a country music festival and convention every year in Nashville (you can make fun of me now) which I have a front row seat to the nightly music but they also have a exhibit hall were different artist show up to sign. I have literally slept on the street before to meet some artist before and that doesnt really guarantee you much because the open 3 sets of doors and it is crazy. This year there was several nasty bruises and one lady with a broke arm after one stampede for a ticket to meet Reba. That was a lot of fun. I have always wondered if there was down right stampedes like their are there at comic con. If there were there is no way I would ever go because that is like a lot more people than there and I also dont know anyone. I know alot of people were I go and I am able to know more than just the average attendee because we find out where the line is that we need to be in before the doors open.

That's because if they smack them, someone would call the cops.

Hell I'm going to wear a t-shirt that says "I have swine flu" just so the crowd stays away.

Heh, Thats actually not a bad idea. Huge lines dispurse like the Moses splitting the sea. Start coughing and be first in line for a panel or exclusive.
