probably because this one is clean. the official clean ones are going for upwards of a 1k. (even though it's fairly easy to clean them)

ABSOLUTELY NEVER send an item before you get paid. There are tons of shady people on ebay, but your buyer sounds legit.

EXACTLY. Always wait till you are paid before shipping. And ship with insurance and tracking so that you can't get screwed later on (by the buyer claiming it is broken, or the package never arrived)
