experimenting with video a little - i've got some stuff to learn but it's fun dunno why the thumbnails are so hot - the actual video has a normal exposure

Fantastic 8-bit, paint work is spot on I have to ask this because I have an Arkham styled Joker I'm working on, but how did you recreate the grey/white mottled skin? Was it a grey wash over a white base or white dust coat over a grey base? Any tips would really be appreciated if possible

i started with an off-white sculpt - i didn't prime it.

1) spray sculpt with dullcote
2) add diluted flesh tones around the hairline and ears
3) add very light accent colors - both cool and warm colors
4) stipple the skin surface with diluted white paint mixed with a hint of black
5) stipple again with slightly more opaque white paint
6) reinforce your accent colors with even lighter applications of the same colors from step 3
7) add other details - mouth, eyebrows, eye makeup, hair, etc.
8) gloss eyes and mouth

i'm preparing some more boxes to go out tomorrow. i've been bogged down with family stuff and just haven't had the chance to get to the post office as my mornings and afternoons have been pretty busy as of late. the majority of free time i get these days is well after normal hours of operation (generally after 10PM)

at any rate i will be in touch with some tracking numbers for those that are waiting for them tomorrow - thanks again for the patience and understanding. it's difficult for me to be day specific with when i can get to ship things, but generally it's a +/- 10 day window at this point if i give you an estimate. i'm not trying to be a crud and i do apologize for delays

thanks sirgor - i make them when people ask for them but lately it's just been most head paint commissions. my desire would be to make more full figures as it easier to assure a cohesive whole i have a few full figure customs coming up soon though

s'ok - thank you cmiller he passed away towards the end of june. he used to get into the pantry all the time and eat the bagels, so i'm reminded every time i think to close the door and realize there's no need anymore
