80s kid introduction - greetings!

hello all,

brand new to the forums and excited to be here. a bit about me:

- born in the early 80s, overly nostalgic to the era
- first toys were He-Man figures...sadly my Mom threw them all away (something I still give her a hard time about)
- from He-Man I moved onto: Transformers, GI Joes, TMNT, Battle Beasts, Real Ghostbusters
- I realized in about 9th grade that I wanted to preserve my toys, only at this point I only had a a handful of Transformers left...
- I started properly collecting Star Wars toys when the Power of the Force line was released; my collection currently includes ~65 MOC figures, 10+ vehicles/scenes and tons of random other stuff. I also have enjoyed the retro re-releases and have probably 4 vehicles and 10 figures.
- I also enjoy comics and have a decent collection of actual comics and graphic novels...I have every Hellboy TPB and just about every iconic Batman TPB. I have the entire Watchmen comic set, which is probably the fave of my comic collection.

Forgot to mention that I'm a fan of classic Nintendo systems (NES, SNES, 64)! Big fan in particular of Zelda franchise and Rare games (Banjo, Conker)

Welcome. I haven't seen Danger Mouse in ages. Used to love that show, and Count Duckula.

DM was the best. I taped all the episodes when they played on Nickelodeon back in the day and practically wore the tape out watching so much as a kid.
