I seriously wish Hot Toys expanded their Video Game Masterpiece line. I'd be sold on figures of Half Life, Crysis, Farcry, Diablo, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat... you get the picture.

Wait... Hot Toys is making vultures now?!


So any guesses on what the next figure they're gonna show is going to be? I'm not counting Whiplash here because there have been teasers of him already...
I'm hoping we'll finally see something of their Avatar license, but I'm thinking Clash Of The Titans will be up next... Not that I'm not interested to see what that's gonna give us

Part of me is hoping to see something from avatar or the T-1000. Another part of me is hoping for something from a licence I have no interest in.

Possible upcoming ones I'll be interested in are T-1000, mk VI, preds from predators and other possible characters and avatar. Which of those that I will actually be able to buy is a completely different matter

Really? I'm hugely interested, I'm a fan of the Greek monsters anyways though
I cant wait to see what they'll do with something like Medusa, if they don't just do Perseus and then stop! (I'm looking at you Nomak)

I suppose the only guarantee from this line will be the 1/6 Kraken....

Yeah, I hope they don't do that with this line. The designs for the characters in this movie look awesome and they could make some extremely cool figures from this license!

A Medusa would surely be possible to make IMO and I hope they will! Same goes for Zeus. They could make an armored body like they do with Iron Man and War Machine to give his outfit the best look!

They could even make this guy:

Don't know how big his part is in the movie, but he looks awesome!

If they did make her it would atleast make for a interesting display with perseus. I suppose whether they will or not will depend on the cost of RnD against possible profit. Its not like you see many half snake half woman characters popping up

IMO Medusa won't make the cut. Perseus is a given perhaps a Zeus or Calibos but I don't expect a deep line. I expect the film's success (especially overseas) to play a role in the number of figures produced.

Judging by the size of her head in the posters I'd say the human part of the body wouldn't be a lot bigger than a regular figure. The size of the snakepart could be quite large indeed...

Still it seems they are developing more and more specially designed upperbodies for figures... So why couldn't they do it with a lower body for once...

Does anybody have a list of Hot Toys staff and their positions?? I'm doing a little graphic design project and I'm making a movie poster type thing, and I'd like to run credits.

I know Howard Chan's the chief, but the only other people I know of are Kojun, JC Hong and Yulli. Do they just sculpt heads?? Who are the people that make the clothing??

I was expecting Tony Stark, T2 Arnie or BD Iron Man by now but no joy yet for whatever reasons.

However I was delighted to get Leonidas through the door on thursday!
I was not expecting him to out so soon. He's truly awesome. One of my favs I think.

Its killing me! I have T-800 and War Machine on pre-order with OSB, and was expecting the T-800 to be released soon so now its a even longer wait for a figure fix I would rather have a delay than a rushed job. Tempted by quite a few other Hot Toys and Leonidas keeps looking better and better. Was initially a very easy pass for me but looks great.

With whiplash I would have thought there could be some way that they could do a light up version of the whips or something because I am really not liking the current version and is really putting me off the figure. Also in the trailers the whips seem white in colour as opposed to OJ orange.
