There nice figs alright i can see why you would want to keep them, but i myself am trying to get out of the habit of buying figures i don't need ..i actually got the enterbay piccolo ..why i really have no idea but he is now packed up and ready 2 be sold on,atleast i posted the only video review of the figure so it was worth having 4 that i guess ..thinking about selling goemon also ..no clue as to what his character is like i have yet to see the film ..just bought him coz he looked cool ..but that novelty has since worn off with all the recent figure announcements of figures based on characters i do know of and do really like.

Balls to em, I just listed both on ebay. I want War Machine and Mark IV too much to be stopped by sorta cheesy warrior chicks. I'm 34. Time to loose the childish stuff I think.
I did have my eye on the Kamui Gaiden figure and just like you I haven't seen the movie but was rocked by the figure. It's very classy dude. I dunno if you'd regret selling him. If you do decide to though let me know.

The first pages has pics of them under normal light but then page 5 or 6 has them in the dark.

mmm...these are quit interesting ain't they.
Might be good for one or two to have around the house but I think they feel too precious-doll-on-display for my tastes. Too sterile for my home I think.
But I would be tempted to have one or two of these.
Thanks for sharing the pics. :)

Kamui Gaiden is a beautiful looking figure ..has got one of the best sculpts i have ever seen imo.. not to expensive either compared to the other stuff hot toys has been pumping out lately ..its a figure that cries out dirty me up ..he would look awesome all muddy and battle worn ..i would never do that myself ..but it would look cool.
I gotta bunch of final fantasy figures..once i start selling on ebay ..some of them will go 4 sure ..but i will keep my heretic bahamut ..that piece is just to stunning 4 anyone else to have it but me lol

Yep, love my Kamui figure even if I didn't feel the same about the movie.

And if it helps, Eamon, Rachel was a pretty boring character in Ninja Gaiden... and she goes for a good amount on ebay these days ($100+ now, it retailed for like $40).

Yeah, hopefully I'll get enough for Rachel to get one Hot Toy.
Though Ayane is getting more attention right now.

Just sold a lot of comic figures yesterday too. Feels good actually. :)

Can anyone tell me how to get hold of blank HT stands with blank name plates at the front?

All the blank stands i've seen (on their own or with a nude body), don't have the bit at the front for the name.

Thanks.

I know once i get a hang of selling stuff on ebay it will be easier to let some stuff go.. but also does anybody here know how much broken hot toys would go 4 ..i gotta t600 V1 with a broken piston and finger ..and an abe sapien with broken knee and upper arm ..i love both of them especially the abe but theres no room in my collection for broken figures ..especially now with all the new stuff coming and money is needed.

I cant ever recall seeing a blank stand with the name plate. Your best bet would probably be to either paint a stand from another figure black, getting rid of whatevers on there. Or try and make your own name plate thing :dunno

Personally, unless its a rare figure, a very easy fix or has potential for a diorama, I wouldnt touch a broken figure with a barge pole. If it was just the leg on Abe, I would say fix it by swapping it with another leg from a TT or something because then although you would have to list it as modded or broken, it would have more of a chance of selling. As for the arm... if possible fix it because otherwise I wouldnt expect that to sell. And even then, what you would make from it, may not be worth the hassle

As for the T-600, you cant fix that either, you could hang on to it and at some point in the future, use it to make a diorama or base or something. There are probably members on these boards who would take it off your hands for a small price to do that. You may have better luck listing the T-600 in the for sale section here. Thats what I would do any way.

Tnx 4 the advice i will set the broken figures aside 4 now until i am eligible 2 sell here on the boards and just focus on selling my other non-broken figures on ebay. My dealer has 3 of my pre-ordered figures in-hand and waiting to be paid off ..and i will only let myself pay them of by means of selling some stuff and 2 leave my bank balance alone this time.

Let us know what and when you are selling dude!

Just listed my first item on ebay! ..its the ironman M3 V1 ..my dealer has my battle damage on hand..and i cant pay it off until i sell the original.
I also will be listing a ht Edward scissorhands and enterbay piccolo ..both good condition.
On the fence if i should sell my bank robber joker ..i have the dx01 already so that may be enough 4 me.

I may be asking allot 4 the figure given that its used ..but if people don't like the price they can bid on it ..

Just a quick question. Why are you guys selling your MkIII V1 and opt for the BD version instead? I got the BD ver just couple of days back and after meddling with it for awhile, wasn't too impressed (though it is still a very good figure) but would rather prefer to own a clean MKIII V1 instead if not for the super duper secondary market price now.

The right shoulder missile flap couldn't close the gap fully to the back plate when closed on my piece even when I had pushed down the missle box all the way in. But the left side closes perfectly gapless. Anyone who own this piece had the same problem?

I have both in hand as well and I have to say the V1 is far better than the BD really dont understand why anybody would sell off the original its far nicer, but hey just my opinion

Well I have just put the BD version together.

I think he's very very nice. I do like all teh little bits. Love the face in the helmet and I love the colours.

But do I prefer him to the V1. I gotta say, I do not know.

Like some of you have said, the clean V1 is just simple and nice.
But the rubber midsection's colour is fading fast and that's bothering me.
Plus, I much prefer the V1 box design, silly as it sounds.

I gotta book cover deadline today so I haven yet to really get in there and do some comparing and nerding.

I really dunno what to do yet but one of the Mark III's has gotta go.

here's a quick phone pic:
