It's only recently that I have gotten serious about collecting HT and I easily found myself overwhelmed with the amount of choices and preorders. What I finally decided to do was to only get Comic Book movie characters. So far I have Wolverine, Comedian, and TDK Batman with Mech Test Tony arriving Monday.
As much as I would love to get every single release it's obviously not realistic.

Well man sadly we will always encounter these decisions ..i think you should still definitely get whiplash,abi and the T1000 ..the way i crossed Perseus off my list is that 1-his film sucked and 2- i already have a marcus wright and a possible avatar sully in the future..i don't want to have a sam worthington shrine going on in my collection.
And as 4 dastan that sculpt put me right off him, that and the announcement of the assassins creed 2 figures, also abi has made black widow easy 2 pass on.
Yeah but I am a sucker for Greek stuff and I like Perseus as an actual figure. I do hope to get a Marcus at some stage so I see your point.
You are right though, I will definitely get Abi, T1000 and most likely Whiplash.
Abi wipes the floor with Black Widow but then I wasn't entirely sold on BW.
Of all the Hot Toy due out, Abi is the one I am looing forward to the most.
She's just so textured I think.
I do like the Danstan figure. Again sucker for old stuff and I did like the movie, but they need to sort his head out before I commit.
I do not play video games but I did always like the look of Assassins Creed. his second costume is awesome and like you, very eager to see how that turns out.

Bloody isn't! I limit it to one or two characters who best represent the film or franchise which I REALLY want from comic book or sci-fi films I like unless I find a damn good deal that is too good to pass up on a figure I'm on the fence about!

Agreed. The T-800 is REALLY tempting, but I already have SS's T-800 Premium Format to represent that franchise. Plus if I get even ONE T2 character I'm going to want them all

I'm finding it difficult to just get the 1 T-1000... let alone the whole line! I also try to have one figure of each character from a line. And with how jam packed that T-1000 it's going to be a difficult decision to decide which look to go with. Will probably end up changing it pretty regularly! If they make a young John Connor then I'll be extremely tempted to get him and Sarah.

I try to maintain a rule that's 1 figure from a movie, which I have been able to abide by... But I have to say it's getting harder and harder with all the awesome figures HT releases...

Rules are there to be broken.
Of that little lot ive currently only got 2 x T-1000 & Abigail Whistler on preorder.
Absolutely no interest in prince of persia or clash of the titans. Dont think Warmachine or Black Widow look too good either so will probably skip them...
