I agree with everything E, well except about apes / gorilla's. It is unexpected pleasure getting the previews we got but JU hit the nail on the head. Seems to be missing "a big announcement". We are spoiled

I think Avatar would have been the "big announcement" to sooth everyone. Even collector's not interested would talk about them strictly in terms of scale.

That said, I am a Marvel guy so the announcments today with GR, WM and Mark VI is pure sweetness.

I was hoping for some pics of Jill Valentine and the Berserker Predator and possibly Classic Predator. GR looks cool as do all the Iron Mans but overall I wish they showed more than just mainly Marvel stuff. Hopefully at SDCC HT will show/announce more stuff.

I am surprised and happy with the Marvel / comic stuff but I am surprised no T2 figs. Perhaps on their way to SD? Unvail a little at each venue?

I think the pictures we've seen so far are the photographers favorite figures at the Con. If you look next to Black-Widow in one of the Ghost Rider picture's background, there's a figure wearing a black trench coat that could possibly be Nick Fury given that everything around that display area is Iron Man 1&2. I think there is more on display we are not seeing, I'm being hopeful, but it seems odd to not show things like the Con-Exclusives and just the TDK, IM 1&2, Watchmen, and Ghost Rider licenses.

If you look next to Black-Widow in one of the Ghost Rider picture's background, there's a figure wearing a black trench coat that could possibly be Nick Fury given that everything around that display area is Iron Man 1&2. I think there is more on display we are not seeing, I'm being hopeful, but it seems odd to not show things like the Con-Exclusives and just the TDK, IM 1&2, Watchmen, and Ghost Rider licenses.

I hope I am right too, it just doesn't make sense that there would be no pictures of some of their most popular Franchises(Terminator Franchise, Predator(s) Franchise). I think we will see more photos either from this Con in the next few days or worst case if not, SDCC Preview Night in 6 days, either way I really want to see if we have a BD War-Machine and a BD T-800 coming our way. And of course a re-vamp on the Classic Predator!

IMO it looks like the Joker holding a set of cards. However, I agree it is odd to limit the display and not showcase the exclusives.

Hmm, I don't think so because the Joker display they have up is in the grenade rig pose. And the figure looks too dark.

There is also Aldo right underneath him. At first I was hoping it was Landa (can see an overcoat and what looks to be a hat with the light shining off the brim), but that's just wishful thinking. Or maybe it isnt!? PLEASE LET IT BE LANDA!

I don't think it's The Joker, his pictures show him doing the grenade-rig pose, but I could be wrong. I'm just speculating that it might be Nick Fury. Usually we get some nice reveals so I'm expecting more than what has been shown through one independent blog.

Wow (at the release)! I'm suprised its Landa! Didn't expect to see him at all really!

I'm a little disappointed at what Hot Toys is showing, But there's a few things sprinkled in to make me happy enough. Updated whiplash, additions to War Machine, and the reveal of the Mark VI. Oddly all Iron man 2 stuff. I Was hoping for battle suit Jill . alas maybe in the next few days or at comic con.
