Why heat the dreads? To make em longer?

No, to make them seem like the hang more naturally. When it arrived, they stuck out quite a bit, so I dropped the head in a jug filled with hot water from the kettle for a few seconds with a couple of rubber bands tied around and then ran it under cold water and left it for 24 hours.

Looks alot better!

Some did more drastic mods which involved removing the dreds and re-setting them.

mmm....I may give that a go as I agree that they stick out a bit too much!

If you do do it... you only need to drop it in for litterally a few seconds!

I tried running it under a hot tap before I saw one of P!tu's vids and he used boiled water in a jug for the Lost pred. But when I used the tap method, after a few days the dreds would eventually spring back out. But since using the kettle method, not had to do anything since. And this was MONTHS ago!

Some also use hair dryer method. All with different results. But for me the kettle method worked best

I really don't like it, one of there weaker box designs imo ..although the blueprint style design is cool..but apart from that there is very little to it , but im glad you like it. that style obviously appeals 2 some.

The Dallas and Kane boxes are beautifully designed.

My favorites are Bank Robber Joker, and Aldo Raine's. Aldo's is simple and plain, but effective. Plus I like the color scheme!

I got sucked in this past April. I think I stumbled upon reviews of HT figures on YouTube and wanted to do reviews of my own on these figures. That meant owning them. My first if I recall correctly was Predator 2 The Lost. Got him on a score $130 + $19.99 shipping.

The rest is history. Eamon you know my story...

Mmm...I suppose my favourite boxes have to the Iron Man ones, especially the Mark 1 with the wooden crate outer sleeve.

I too really rate the Tony Stark. Tis just slick I think.

They are all pretty rocking though. The only one I find a bit lacking is the T2.

That said, I love the Godfather packaging. Just so classy.

If the Godfather packaging used foam instead of plastic for the inside, it would've been perfect. I always prefer foam and how it smells every time you open the box.

I love how HT is so awesome we're even comparing how good the boxes are, let alone the contents.

I enjoy HT boxes however, I keep everything which creates space problems.

The box is part of the overall presentation however, I am game to save a few bucks and tons of space with a simple, smaller, storage friendly box. I need nothing fancy as my interest lies with the contents not the box. Not to mention, HT boxes keep getting bigger and bigger while my space gets smaller and smaller.

I wouldn't say thats really true, i mean blade,wolverine and aldo all have that small shoebox style box, mech test and the godfather's boxes were only big because of the large backdrop and the pred1 came already assembled which really made the box much smaller to previous kit predators.

If there were some sort of standardised size then it would deffinately make it easier for storage. Obviously ones with back drops would be larger.

I've run out of space to store these boxes... not sure where I'm going to put the boxes for War Machine, mk IV and T-1000 when they arrive! Never mind any other possible ones that may appear on the door step!

^^^ Ya there frikkin huge,I have all my boxes stacked on top of my detolfs even got the batpod box up there ...no more room up there for the king leo and mech test boxes however ..i sold my raiden figure loose so i'm left with the box ..now thats the most pointless box i have lol.

I've got them all stored up the top of the wardrobe in the bedroom. It was only about a month or two ago that I emptied the top, re-arranged everything, threw some stuff away to make the most of the space so there was room for upcoming ones. But after the Comedian, T-800 and DX Bats arrived, I'm ____ outa space! I'll have to have a think where else they can go or something!

Atleast I don't have a box the size of the tumbler!
