I hope they announce loads of new licences this week. Xmas rocked last year when they announced Batman and MGS. The Avengers and TDKR are cool but they are very safe choices. I'd love to see something like BTTF or Blade Runner actually get made.

Who here thinks HT is starting to put out quantity over quality?

They should announce a license after all preliminary work as been done and they can show something within 2 months post announcement. As it is they seem to announce something and then start development, testing and a load of other stuff that eats up time while potential customers grow inpatient for a reveal.

I'm sure they're working on previously announced licenses, just far too slowly to meet demand and too much being announced too soon.

They most recently announced Prometeus, TDKR and Avengers while they still haven't got anything from the previously announced line MGS, X-Men First Class & Green Lantern.

They're working too slowly IMO

Just wondering. Is there usually new announcements made at this time of the year each year?

With HT I'm sticking with the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Tron. I know I will eventually get what I want with the first one but not as sure about the second. So, all I'm really antsy about is getting a Clu and Quorra.

Usually HT makes an announcement of their plans for 2012 around now. Last year they announced Indy onthe 18th and showed him on the 24th. Aside from that scan a while ago, all we have is the Prometheus licence that's new. We knew about TDKR, Spidey and The Avengers during the summer. So far, HT aren't exactly getting me excited.

Prometheus is the new movie by Ridley Scott. It takes place in the same universe as the Alien films, although I'm not sure it could definitely be called a prequel. We'll see some stuff from the Alien films though, I think.

Supposedly its the story of the 'space jockey'. In the first alien movie when they get on board the strange vessel we see a giant strange humanoid skeleton in what looks like the drivers seat of the ship.

HT's site is a mess since more than a year now. It has virusses since a long time. I mostly look at their facebook page or get the latest news here.

Yes, their Japanese site seems to be a lot better than the original one. I mostly forget to look there though
