Dynex Sucks! its Best Buy's Brand!! trust me papo!! i use to work there and those TVs are crap!!! Get a Vizio! they are cheap! especially at Walmart and Sams Club! they are really good! i got a 42 inch 1080i for $800 and its been 2 years and still kicking ass!!!

Just becuase you got fired from Best Buy doesn't mean anything Best Buy sucks. :lol

But seriously, I agree, Dynex is no good.

In your price range without a doubt I'd go Panasonic Plasma. To save money I'd go 720p because you won't see a big enough difference at the size level you'll get. Not enough to warrant the extra money.

I have a question if someone can answer me. First off, I am not on digital cable yet, so....why is it on alot of my channels, the wording, graphics, etc are super sharp, but the people's faces aren't? Now on my local channels that are HD, everything is fine, but get onto cable channels such as USA, SciFi...oops, SyFy, E!, channels like that and they seem a bit blurry to me. Will that improve with digital cable?

Wal-Mart has a 40" Sony Bravia 1080p on sale this week for $888. Pretty damn good price, I was tempted to jump on it, but I already have a 42" 1080p Samsung LCD, a 41" 1080i Samsung DLP, and a 60" Toshiba 1080i.

Ween - it's because the channel is HD, but the show being broadcast is not.

Thanks! I figured it was something like that.

I'm still playing around with the settings. Most of the time I watch it on standard because the channels are so different picture wise.
